The Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day Financial operations and Human Resources of the Serviced Residences. He /She will be working closely with the Residence Manager in order to ensure profitability for stakeholders.
- To prepare monthly accounts, financial statements and reports for the property management company and owner.
- Meet deadlines for monthly forecasts, annual budgets and management reports.
- Ensure revenue collection and payments are in order.
- To review and analyse the business performance and support the team in identifying and delivering performance improvement initiatives.
- To review and update processes, internal controls and business reporting models as may be required.
- To provide leadership and direction in financial issues, controls and governance matters.
- To supervise and ensure the daily smooth running and functioning of the Finance and Human Resource team including coordination with operations.
- To oversee internal, external and regulatory audit processes and ensure compliance.
- To perform any other tasks as may be assigned by Management/owner.
Human Resources
- Provide comprehensive administration to support on full spectrum of HR functions including payroll management, recruitment, training & development programs and etc.
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
- Proactively address employee relations issues and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
- Prepare Employment Contract, work pass application.
- Provide recruiting support such as job posting, follow up with shortlisted candidates for scheduling interviews, HR documents for hiring.
- Administer HR policies and procedures.
- To prepare monthly employees payroll including CPF filing and yearly IR8A submission.
- Company insurance renewal.
Qualifications, Skills & Personal Attributes:
- Diploma in Accounting or an equivalent/relevant.
- Proven experience in accounting and HR roles
- Fully aware and familiar for compliance with regulatory requirement standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate and work with other departments, vendors and stakeholders.
- Analytical skills that involve ability to extract relevant information, read, compare and interpret figures and data and create reports as necessary.
- Capable of evaluating and solving issues.
- Adaptable to use various software and changes in regulations.
- Have good attention to details to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Effective time management skills; including ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
