Job Summary:

The Food Bank Singapore is a food charity-of-choice dedicated to fighting hunger and reducing food wastage in Singapore. Established in 2012, our mission is to bridge the gap between those with excess food and those in need, providing a sustainable solution to hunger. We work with a network of donors, volunteers, and partner organisations to collect and redistribute food to more than 370 beneficiary organisations. The Food Bank Singapore is currently seeking a highly skilled and versatile professional to join our team as Accounting, Human Resources and Business Reporting Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing HR functions, overseeing budgeting activities to ensure the efficient running of our charity, and provision of business and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

(1) Human Resources

- Developing, maintaining and implementing internal HR policies and strategies, and ensuring that all policies are aligned to current Singapore Ministry of Manpower regulations.

- Manage the recruitment and selection process.

- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.

- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.

- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.

- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

(2) Accounting

- Prepare budget forecasts.

- Manage all accounting transactions.

- Publish financial statements in time, including working with our external auditors on annual audits and reviews.

- Responsibility for all regulatory updates and filings, including ACRA, Commission of Charities and Giving.sg.

(3) Business Reporting

- Conduct market and industry analysis to identify business opportunities and threats.

- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.

- Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimisation strategies.

- Document and communicate the results of your efforts.

- Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports.

Job Responsibilities:

• To be the HR service delivery contact point for your assigned locations.
• To deliver efficient, high-quality HR service to employees, line managers, and HRBPs
• in your assigned locations.
• Deliver a coherent transactional processing service, providing high-quality advice, support to managers and employees, and query resolution throughout the employee’s life cycle.
• Manage all the employee-related data entry into the HR system.
• Ensure integrity, consistency, and security of all data you deal with.
• Perform regular audits and reconciliation to ensure consistency and accuracy of the HR data maintained.
• Manage the HR shared services ticketing tool and ensure all requests/queries are attended to on time.
• Actively contribute to case analysis and identification of issue trends.
• Ensure key performance metrics including Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Generate timely and accurate HR reports for data analysis and provide insights where applicable.
• Participate in new technology implementation, system enhancements, and continuous
• improvement efforts.
• Update and maintain all related knowledge management documents (e.g. SOPs, desktop
• procedures, and process workflows).
• Work closely with the HR Business Partners and CoEs to facilitate the implementation of global/regional initiatives.
• To support the annual HR cycle including Merit, Incentive, Year-end, Audits, and the like.
• Build strong mutual trust and relationships with key stakeholders and regularly communicate with them to obtain feedback on daily operations.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent in Business, HR, or related field
• Experienced in HR Shared Services; HR Service Delivery; HR Operations; Maintaining an HR database; and HR systems experience; Familiar with Employee Life Cycle activities
