We are seeking a talented and energetic HR Advisor to join our APAC team. You will report directly to the Head of HR APAC region and you will work closely with the HR Manager of China, the Managers across our main locations: Singapore, Hong Kong, Mainland China and Australia and our colleagues in Finance Team.
What you will do :
1. Payroll Management and Administration :
- Work with outsourced payroll vendor, ensure accurate and timely interpretation and data integration to payroll systems, as well as payment-related calculations for payroll accuracy. Process statutory payments and deductions.
- Manage employees Payroll queries for Singapore Office
- Manage Medical Health benefit.
- Lead payroll projects and process improvement initiatives across APAC region when required.
- Prepare all employee related documents/ correspondences, work visas,etc.
2. HR Policy Development: Participating in the creation, upgrading and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
3. HR Data and Reporting: Maintaining HR Records, preparing reports, and conducting analysis to support decision making and HR Planning
4. Training and Development: Collecting and identifying training needs, coordinating training sessions while managing training budget,
5. Recruitment and Selection: Assisting the hiring process, such as job posting, reviewing resumes, conducting first screening, and conducting interviews when necessary.
6. Performance and Talent management: Supporting the HR director and Managers during Performance and Talent Review processes: ensure data accuracy, proper planning, communication to employees and managers, facilitate training and ensure follow up on data completion.
7. Compensation and Benefits:
- Support Market Benchmarking: assist the HR Director in conducting a comprehensive analysis of the organization’s compensation and benefits packages to compare them with industry trends.
- Benefits analysis: Evaluating the effectiveness and cost efficiency of current benefits offerings such as health insurance, pension plans, etc. Support in identifying areas where benefits can be optimized to meet the needs of employees while aligning with the organization’s financial objectives.
- Support the Job evaluation and salary structure design initiative in APAC.
8. Employee engagement: Supporting employee engagement initiatives in the region.
Do you have what it takes?
The ideal candidate should possess at least 6 years of experience in the HR Field, combined with a passion for excellence and a commitment to our values.
- Degree qualified with around 6 to 8 years of HR Generalist or HR Operations experience covering APAC region, experience in supporting commercial functions will be a plus.
- Payroll experience (vendor management) is a must.
- Sound knowledge of the Employment Act, Human Resource organizational policies, processes, and best practices.
- Previous exposure to Compensations and Benefits Projects across APAC
- Strong interpersonal and consulting skills in dealing with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Results driven ability with problem analysis and resolution skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong sense of ownership with high personal integrity.
- A self-starter who is agile, inquisitive, and keen to learn.
- Openness to occasional travel as needed.
