Statement Of Purpose (Overall Purpose of Job)

Provide day to day operation handling full HR spectrum as well as work pass and payroll administration and assist in internal and external audit.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
(A) Specific :

• Update and maintain of staff particular lists for the Group and File in the documents.
• Prepare and update general worker Contracts, Salary Review Letter, Renewal Contract/Letter and Create PAM user for (RIT) general workers.
• Processing of payroll.
• Assist in the e-Appraisal and Quarterly Climate Survey.
• Administer the processing of Work Pass administration which include application, renewal and termination.
• Administer employee benefits and entitlement which include notifying WICA insurance for new and resigned employees for staff only.
• Provide administration and support for the internal and external audits.

(B) General :

• Prepare necessary documents for new hire and confirmation etc.
• Monitor and follow-up on Employee Introducer Scheme, if any.
• Handle and provide administrative duties within the HR department.
• Other HR job assigned.

(C) Safety:

• To follow the safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazard at the work place.

Job Requirements

(A) Education, Qualifications & Special Training :

• Certificate or Diploma or Degree in HR Management.
• More than 1 years’ experience in HR.
• Job holder without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.

(B) Knowledge & Skills :

• Must have experience in Payroll Processing and Administration.
• Understand and familiar with the Employment Act.
• Knowledge in Payroll system and Pay Advisor Mobile would be an advantage.
• Experience in handling Foreign Workers’ issues.
• Must be very meticulous and sensitive to numbers.
• Good interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Good in planning and coordinating skills.
• Knowledge in MS Office.

(C) Experience :

• Working experience in a construction company would be an advantage.

What you will be working on

In this role, you will:

• Partner business stakeholders through a proactive and consultative approach in various strategic HR areas (onboarding, development, engagement, retention, disability inclusion), and collaborate with HR counterparts on the implementation of solutions and employee communication.
• Support officers through the employee life cycle from onboarding, deployment, development, and off-boarding, and offer professional advice on HR policies, initiatives, and processes as well as employee well-being support.
• Establish a strong partnership and engagement with the core management team to develop HR strategies that support achieving organisational goals, as well as to improve work relationships and build morale to improve productivity and retention of officers.
• Manage specific projects as determined in the annual business and HR strategic plan (e.g.,strategic workforce planning), and contribute to functional and cross-functional initiatives.
• Apply frameworks, tools, and techniques to diagnose issues and co-develop solutions that ensure buy-in from senior leaders and other stakeholders (including sharing relevant practices in the market and data analytics/insights).
• Be an effective people catalyst between the business and HR, and forge trusted partnerships via the development and communication of the organisation’s strategies and policies to officers with proper feedback channels.

Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with an option to renew, contingent upon confirmation and subject to organisational needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.

As an Human Resource Executive, you will be responsible for providing specialized support and supporting to various operational functions. This dynamic position offers an opportunity to tackle diverse tasks, allowing you to accumulate transferable skills for personal and professional growth.

Core Functions of the Operations Department:

• Manage onboarding & offboarding processes, including conducting orientation sessions for new hires, processing completion of probationary period and ensuring proper exit procedures for departing employees.

• Startup and Fast-Paced Environment Experience: Prior exposure to beauty working in dynamic start-ups or fast-paced environments.
• Project or Business Experience: Involvement in projects or business initiatives, demonstrating proactive contributions.
• Prior experience in beauty industry would be a bonus
