The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient running of the human resource (HR) function, adopts a global, forward-thinking perspective and effectively integrates various considerations to arrive at well-rationalised decisions.
Requirements and Job Responsibilities:
Human Resource
• New staff orientation program and onboarding process
• Monitor the function's financial inflow and outflow against allocated manpower budgets and forecasts
• Competent in Job redesign, reviews, policy making & HR processes to attract & retain talents
• Administer HRM system (Payroll, CPF contribution & levies), defence against security breaches and use of corporate or staff confidential and sensitive information.
Legislation & Compliance
• Familiar with industry best practices and able to constructively adapt and internalize for use
• Well versed and knowledgeable with employment Act, statutory rules and regulations
• Monitor proper HR governance and adherence to internal policies, staff entitlement and welfares.
• Participate in government claims or grants, workmen compensation and incident reporting.
Steer Organisational Culture and Change
• Champion organisational values and cultivate desired culture with other senior business leaders and stakeholders
• Lead the talent agenda by overseeing the development and strengthening of the talent bench strength to a build high performance workforce, ensure business continuity and sustainability.
Reporting to: Local CEO & Regional HR Manager
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree
- At least 5-7 years in the relevant HR field is required
- Outstanding communication skills: clear and structured, high level of emotional intelligence, talent in presentation skills and convincing power.
- Meticulous, committed and takes initiatives.
- Resourceful, good team player, good attitude and able to multi-task.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
