Havas Singapore is looking for a Human Resources (HR) Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes with strong recruiting experience. Reporting to HR Director, your HR manager duties will involve managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development and talent management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist HR Director to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Oversee and manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits
- Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date
- Design and implement employee retention strategies
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Work closely with HR Director to conduct annual performance and salary reviews
- Conduct regular training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies
- Payroll and claim processing, analyse wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan
- Stay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 5+ years of experience in HR or Labor Law, preferably in the Advertising/ Media industry
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- People-oriented and results-driven
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
- Strong understanding of change management principles and experience leading organizational change initiatives
- Proficient in running salaried payroll and processing expense reimbursements
- Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and present HR metrics to inform decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
