The People Planning Operations (PPO) team supports and drives execution of the workforce management strategies and operations for Apple Retail stores globally. Our team collaborates with partners across Apple to execute Retail programs, enabling teams and customers to receive a world class experience. We are looking for a Process Analyst to partner with retail leadership teams across multiple locations to plan a scheduling strategy that positively impacts our employees and customers. You will be responsible for crafting store scheduling strategies that incorporate local needs through your relationship with store leadership teams and your knowledge of GRS resource planning strategies. You will provide the schedule plans to a team of Operations Analysts to build effective schedules, through consistent and dynamic resource planning.

Description

• Partner with Store Leaders to align on scheduled hours allocation, traffic analysis, and store goals to drive and deliver a high-quality plan
• Motivate and engage store leadership behind resource planning strategies and changes through strong relationships and ability to influence
• Integrate store specific plans with resource planning strategies to plan timely, consistent, fair, and flexible schedules to support the employee and customer experience
• Drive timeliness, accuracy, and consistency with resource planning strategies across several locations
• Partner with Store Leaders to advise on how current payroll, local payroll laws, time away, availability, and hiring trends impact scheduling performance and identify solutions
• Analyzing data related to workforce management to provide recommendations to store leadership and Store Operations Field Leaders to improve resourcing trends and scheduling opportunities
• Partnering with Operations Analysts to review completed schedules for alignment with store specific plan and current resource planning strategies
• Maintain subject matter expertise and proficiency of the current scheduling system
• Attend and participate in Global Retail Support (GRS) communication regarding system enhancements, scheduling updates and training
• Accountable to compliance adherence to scheduling rules, store policies and procedures across markets and countries where applicable

This role is mainly focused on HR end-to-end recruitment and onboarding aspects.

Job Responsibilities:

(80%) HR duties:

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting, conduct interview and collaborate with hiring managers to onboarding.
• Maintain and upkeep employee records in HR Management System and Personnel File.
• Responsible for monthly payroll.
• Responsible for statutory payment submission and claims - CPF, IR21, IR8A, NS claims, Government- Paid Leave, training grant etc. submission.
• Prepare all employment-related letters including employment contracts, confirmation letters, resignation acceptance letters, off-boarding procedures etc.
• Manage work passes renewal, applications, cancellation and levy waiver requests.
• Attend to employees’ queries on various HR related matters.
• Visa application.

(20%) Accounts duties:

• Monthly bank reconciliation to ensure book balance aligns with the bank statement.
• Assist in month-end closing and prepare balance sheet accounts.
• Issuance and receipt of Purchase Orders.
• Liaise with banks on payment and receipts matters.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year HR and recruitment experience. Experience with F&B hiring will be an added advantage.
• Able to communicate in Chinese to manage documentation in Chinese and communicate with HQ staff from China.
