Visa’s Asia Pacific Early Careers team is seeking an Analyst, Early Careers Talent Acquisition to join our diverse team of recruiters. The Analyst, Talent Acquisition will successfully collaborate with hiring team(s) and will play an essential role in driving overall company growth. As a part of the Global Talent Acquisition team, you are on the front line of attracting industry talent that will impact the greater global organization. This role will perform full life-cycle recruiting, while being a strategic partner in support of Visa’s business functions.
 

Candidates should be a seasoned recruiting professional capable of leading full-cycle recruiting efforts for intern and New College Graduate roles for a wide range of Visa business units and locations. Candidates are encouraged to be consultative with an ability to align TA delivery with HR and business strategy and needs.

The individual will own, drive and deliver as well as collaborate on regional or global projects and initiatives that impact Talent Acquisition and HR quality and delivery. This position will report into the Asia Pacific Head of Early Careers and collaborate with teammates across the recruiting and programs functions. The role will partner with HR Business Partners and leadership teams on all talent acquisition related activity.
 

• Serves as a trusted talent acquisition partner by advising hiring team on talent demand, industry trends, and market intelligence forecast for talent in the development of staffing strategies.

• Implement impactful recruitment campaigns to attract and select the very best talent with a focus on candidate experience – including management of the recruitment process from resume screen to offer close.

• Host successful strategy meetings with hiring team(s).

• Partners successfully with cross-functional teams to include, but not limited to our Coordinating, Onboarding, DE&I, and Compensation teams.

• Attracts top industry talent into the organization while acting as a Visa’s culture ambassador.

• Source and screen applicants to provide a selection of qualified talent to the hiring team, as well as manage candidate dispositioning and regular requisition maintenance.

• Continuous interaction with hiring teams and candidates to ensure a seamless candidate experience.

• Drives best-in-class recruitment process to help achieve key hiring metrics.

• Administers and executes candidate onboarding process.

• Participates in special projects as assigned, such as review and propose social media strategies, data management and analytics, branding, and the internship program.

• Prioritize multiple functions, tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast paced, changing work environment.

• Able to work in a hybrid work environment.

• Various after-hours commitment to campus events, Early Careers program events and/or team events required: 10-15% of the time.

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

• Lead and manage the full spectrum of human resource management including manpower planning, staffing, compensation and benefit, organisational capability development, employee development, talent management and performance management
• Identify and define the HR requirements (organisational -capabilities, people competencies, way of working)
• Perform HR scenario planning based upon external developments such as labour markets, demographics.
• Implement a yearly appraisal system and undertake regular salary reviews.
• Maintain the dormitory operation in particular the daily running and logistics aspect pertaining to the living conditions.
• Update the employee handbook and document all HR policies and changes.
• Oversee the administration support in the organisation for various submissions, renewals, claims, surveys, etc.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as HR Manager or HR Executive
• People oriented and results driven
• Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
• Knowledge of HR systems and databases
• Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
• Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practice

• Responsible for the full spectrum of Human Resource and Administrative functions and activities, not limited to recruitment and selection, payroll administration, performance management, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and training & development.
• Monitoring and assisting in work pass administration including new application, renewal, cancellation, and purchasing of security bonds, etc for the marine process
• Analyse needs, review HR policies and processes and recommend HR actions to ensure practices are in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Involve in grievance handling and disciplinary issues
• Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the information in all HRIS systems and physical documents such as payroll, employee records, leave system, employment contracts, etc
• Execute recruitment activities to meet business needs. Handling recruitment and selection processes, job offers, and internal salary benchmarking. Work closely with section managers on hiring requirements, ensure efficient and effective on-boarding and off-boarding activities including work pass application and orientation
• Advise internal customers on HR procedures and policies
• Prepare and analyze monthly reports for management
• Provide accurate information in surveys and liaison with government agencies
• Update human resources policies, ensuring compliance with government labor legislation on a regular basis.
• Prepare and submit statutory documents and all employer-related claims (NS makeup, maternity/paternity, childcare leave, annual income tax submission, IR21, etc.)
• Perform other administrative functions, projects, and assignments as tasked
• Manage employee inquiries on the HR processes and policies and proactively identify HR issues and provide timely resolutions
• Monitoring and keeping up-to-date training records
• Assisting in work injury compensation claims & staff insurance claims
• Assist in administrative support such as data entry, reports, work pass matter related, etc
• Provide HR customer service and respond in a manner to an internal and external party
• Preparation and submission of IR8A, and IR21, compiling statutory and other statistical information reports or surveys as required
• Ensure follow-up with Contractors on renewal of permits
