Main Accountabilities

• Execute the responsibilities of a WSH Officer as required in the Workplace Safety and Health Regulations and regulations and Code of Practices
• Implement a comprehensive Site Safety Management System to manage risks and reduce accidents
• Preparation and/or submission of safety reports and necessary audits
• Maintain the safety of the environmental working conditions
• Provide full Health and Safety support from planning, implementation to completion

• Establish a good rapport with the client, sub-contractors and government authorities.

• Review the exceptional status and premium collections. Scrutinize, categorize, and solve the reconciling items.

Responsibilities

• Handling administrative processes, including update of student records, matriculation, certification letters, feedback, learning outcome and other student related matters
• Assisting faculty in admission screening related matters and checking of matriculation documents
• Ensure set up for the classroom is conducive for lectures and assist lecturers during the teaching period
• Assist in examination invigilation and student exam appeal
• Process, verify lecturers’ teaching claims and submit to finance department
• Provide administrative support to students’ internship/thesis placement with local or overseas institutions/companies
• Liaise with partner university for all IT account issues for lecturers
• Managing Alumni and Career Services database as well as to plan for events for Undergraduate and Postgraduate department
• Create and plan a strategy for awareness of the University’s branding and recognition through marketing and communications platforms to draw large number of alumni
• Plan alumni events internally and externally and update the database of the alumni.
• Manage and produce key alumni newsletter and source for vendors to secure deals (dining /shopping/physical activities)
• Lead, guide and organize meetings with the alumni committee and manage them

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree/ Diploma in any field.
• 4 years of experience in the similar job scope in an education industry with prior experience in programme management and operations
• Experienced in organising events and relationship management, preferably in an institution of higher learning.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in MS office applications and IT savvy
