Basic Salary: $5,000 – $6,000 per month (depending the working experience)
Working hour: Mon to Fri 8:30am to 6pm
Working Location: Changi Airfreight Centre

Job Scope:

You will report to the Branch Manager and will lead a team of ocean freight personnel.

• Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the ocean freight department and resolve any operational-related problem.
• Lead and supervise the Ocean operation team, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain relationships with shipping lines, port operators, and other key stakeholders.
• Negotiate pricing, services and terms with the approved vendors and co-loaders, to max monthly Ocean GP.
• Coordinate and negotiate with other company oversea stations.
• Participate in existing and new RFQ or any bidding projects when need.
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes affecting ocean freight operations.
• Prepare reports and analyses on department performance for upper management.
• Ensure compliance with all international trade and shipping regulations.
• Support Ocean Business Development and Trade Lane Management.
• Other assignments by management if any.

Requirements:

• Tertiary Education, with freight forwarding (FCL/LCL) experience
• Minimum 5-10 years work-related experience in Ocean Freight Procurement.
• Experience in Tariff management and Tender management
• With Team Leader experience

The ideal candidate will support our Human Resources department in ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations. The HR Executive will be responsible for the employee lifecycle to create a superb employee experience.

The HR Executive will be reporting directly to the Head of Human Resources.

The Role
The incumbent will be assisting the Head of Human Resources to perform the full spectrum of HR functions, including payroll, to support the business growth.

• Handle operational HR matters and provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
• Deliver HR services in an effective and efficient manner by identifying and resolving HR issues with the relevant stakeholders where necessary.
• Provide support in the implementation of HR strategy and execution of any supporting programs.

Responsibilities:

• Process twice monthly payroll.
• Ensure all work pass matters for foreign staff are obtained and complied with MOM regulations.
• Prepare all of HR related letters, forms and appraisals per the employee lifecycle.
• Manage employee relations and grievances.
• Handle training administration tasks such as preparation of training materials and collation of training feedbacks.
• Assist in the application of government grants and submission of claims.
• Conduct outlet staff Interviews, including interview schedule, feedback and recording.
• Report and review HQ employees leave
• Stand in for receptionist duties
• Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of HR files and Employee P-file/database.
• Work closely with Operations Department to ensure all HR documents are properly collated and submitted for processing.
• Assist in other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Human Resources or the Assistant Manager, e.g staff celebrations, department meetings, company events.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ relevant experience is required.
• Minimum diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Singapore labour law, relevant government regulations
• Experience in Timesoft payroll and F&B Service Industry is required.
• IHRP certification is preferred

Requirements Management

Professional Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, adept at engaging proactively with both external and internal stakeholders
• Proficient in established Project Management methodologies and frameworks
• Experienced in business analysis techniques, including: Flow charting, Requirements capturing, Stakeholder analysis, Use case development, Brainstorming, Solution prototyping, Traceability

Industry Knowledge:

• Experience in asset management or life insurance sectors is highly valued
• Familiarity with Asian markets and regional regulatory practices

Personal Attributes:

Required Qualification and Experience
