Responsibilities

Transport Team, Drivers, and Supply Team Management & Development

• Lead and manage the transport team, drivers, and supply team, promoting a positive work environment and high performance.
• Develop a staff performance matrix to set performance expectations and goals and conduct regular reviews, provide training to improve skills and ensure adherence to operating procedure, safety, and operational standards.
• Conduct regular department meeting with Transport planner, Drivers, and Supply team to understand challenges face and resolve them
• Recruit and onboard new team members as needed to support operational need

Fleet and Route Management:

• Oversee the scheduling, dispatch, and routing of the transportation fleet to optimize delivery times and reduce fuel costs and maintain fuel consumption and CO2 emissions record
• Monitor fleet utilization and recommend adjustments to maximize efficiency.
• Analyse routes and delivery patterns to identify issue and opportunities for planning improvement.
• To oversee the local and cross border deployment.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, including vehicle maintenance, safety inspections, and driver and supply assistant hours, working with relevant team to align process.
• Develop and implement safety protocols to reduce accidents and ensure driver and supply team well-being.
• Conduct regular safety audits and site visit to develop training plan and inspections provide training on best practices, and address any non-compliance issues.
• Manage and handle operational incident and reporting process to provide preventive action and implementing the action proposed.

Budgeting & Cost Management:

• Manage the transportation budget, focusing on cost control and efficient use of resources.
• Track and report on transportation expenses, including fuel, maintenance, and labour costs.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.

Customer Service & Collaboration:

• Collaborate with the customer service team to address any delivery issues and ensure transport team met customer requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Working closely with customer service manager on escalated customer inquiries regarding transportation and delivery.
• Work closely with other departments to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any logistical challenges.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Establish KPIs on the all above for transport operations, including delivery times, on-time performance, fuel efficiency and staffs performance.
• Monitor and analyse performance metrics, preparing regular reports to top management on the progress, performance with mitigation and improvement plan
• Use data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive better results.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in transportation operations, logistics, or a similar role, with proven experience managing a team.
• Strong understanding of fleet management, route optimization, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in transportation management software (e.g., HMS, TMS, GPS tracking) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Processes & Efficiency:Suggest improvements to billing and collection processes.
  Contribute to annual audit through knowledge of financial systems and data.
  Train legal assistants on billing and timekeeping software.
  
• Client & Partner Relations:Manage rates and client contracts within financial software
  Assist with client rate negotiations.
  Develop relationships with key client finance contacts to ensure smooth billing and collections.
  Work with partners to review matter profitability and working capital.
  Respond to inquiries from clients, partners, and fee earners.
  Collaborate with business development teams on financial aspects.
  

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant Billing/Collection/Revenue Control/ experience in an established professional services multinational
• Possess "can-do" attitude, resilient and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
