The Talent Sourcer supports the recruitment team by identifying and engaging potential candidates for various job openings. They use a variety of sourcing techniques and channels to find qualified individuals and then screen and assess their suitability for specific requirements, contributing to the overall talent acquisition process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and posting attractive job adverts on different job boards to boost the interest from target candidates. Reviewing and processing applications on all platforms in a timely manner.
• Utilizing various sourcing methods on online job boards, professional networking sites, and databases to identify and attract potential candidates for specific job requirements.
• Initiating communication with prospective candidates, building relationships, and providing them with relevant information about the job opportunities.
• Evaluating candidate qualifications and suitability through initial phone or video interviews, assessing their skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Arranging interviews when needed and conducting first level of compensation discussions with candidates. 
• Keeping abreast of industry trends, talent communities, and competitive landscapes to optimize sourcing strategies and always maintain a strong talent pipeline, especially for highly repeatable roles.
• Maintaining accurate candidate data and records in applicant tracking systems (ATS) or relevant databases.
• Working backwards from agreed metrics to optimize the sourcing strategy and maintain agreed service levels.
• Supporting recruiters on ad hoc sourcing related administrative tasks
• Promoting the employer brand by presenting job opportunities in an attractive and compelling manner to potential candidates, and effectively influencing others to leverage social media tools in alignment with Cielo’s brand strategy.
• Coordinating feedback and facilitating the overall recruitment process to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
• Actively seeking and engaging with candidates from diverse backgrounds to enhance the company’s commitment to inclusivity.
• Identifying areas for process improvement within the talent sourcing function and suggesting innovative ways to enhance recruitment efficiency.

During your internship you will be exposed to and gain an understanding of everything in the colourful world of HR that ranges from HR Operations, fun Employee Engagement projects, Reward, Benefits and Payroll. You will partner very closely and support the HR Manager in maintaining quality HR services across the business.

Your responsibilities may span the following areas:

Wellness Programmes & Communications

• Plan & deliver meaningful activities to promote overall employee wellbeing, championing dynamic employee involvement
• Review and improve existing communication channels & mode
• Design & broadcast EDMs/artwork for internal Company/HR announcements
• Own & coordinate Staff Welfare matters, i.e. LSA, Marriage, New Born, Hospitalization & Bereavement
• Run HR-driven company events & projects such as Healthy Week/Month, DEI, CSR efforts etc.

Employee Lifecycle

• Overseeing end-to-end Onboarding, Offboarding and relevant HR documentation for new joiners & leavers, including but not limited to communications, activation of Sterling Backcheck & pre-employment medical check etc.
• Maintain & upkeep eFiles & pFiles
• Own & update corporate DLs timely
• Generate Employee Letters as needed/requested, i.e. Letter of Employment, Visa Applications, PR Applications etc.

Invoice & Billing Matters

• Vendor & PO creation
• Invoice processing
• Validating & processing 3rd party contractors’ invoices

Other Ad-Hoc:

• Collaborate closely with HRM/HRC on HR Analytics efforts for data collection and analysis; for example: research, gather and translate HR industry data/trends and insights for application to the business
• Own and manage the monthly HR Events Calendar and initiate meetings to brainstorm and plan for upcoming events & projects
• Extend support to wider HR team, when required & directed by HRM/HRC

What you will do:

• Performance Cycle Operations: Support the operational tasks of the performance review cycle, including coordination, data preparation, follow-up, and progress tracking.
• Market Data Research: Assist in collecting and analyzing market salary data to generate actionable insights for decision-making.
• Data Cleaning & Analysis: Perform basic data cleaning and analysis using Excel or Google Sheets to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
• HR Project Participation: Contribute to other HR initiatives related to employee performance and rewards.

• Duration: At least 3 months
• Language: Proficiency in English as the working language.
• Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas) and Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Educational Background: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Management, Statistics, or related fields.
• Interest and Understanding: Interest in performance management and rewards. Having basic knowledge of HR concepts is an advantage.

You will be supporting the day-to-day full spectrum of HR operations and strategic matters which cover employee engagement, employee relations and retention, performance and development management, compensation and payroll management, HR Policies & Procedures, and coaching leaders and managers to deliver people management capabilities to support business growth strategies.

Supporting the HR Manager, you will need to identify and deliver HR strategies to support business goals and drive results with the responsibility for HR functions.
