Finance Executive - Credit Control

Responsibilities:

• Manage trade receivables and trade payables.
• Monitor the progress of collections.
• Prepare aging reports and analyze trends.
• Implement actions to manage overdue balances.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve identified issues.
• Provide support and supervision for Daily download of incoming remittances.
  - Identification and issuance of receipts.
  - Sending out monthly statements of account.
  - Maintaining lists of unprocessed items.
  - Matching receipts and payments.

General Ledger Support:

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Collate data for quarterly GST submissions to IRAS.

Requirements:

• Preferably have relevant experience within the insurance sector.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance.

Motor Claims Executive - Insurance Sector

Responsibilities:

• Assess liability and quantum accurately.
• Register and process claims efficiently.
• Manage property damage and personal injury claims from third-party claimants.
• Negotiate settlements effectively.
• Provide support to Senior Executives and Assistant Managers.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Motor Claims department.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Possession of basic insurance qualifications such as CGI/PGI is an added advantage.
• Willingness to work extra hours when necessary.

Senior Executive - Underwriting (Property/Casualty/Marine)

Responsibilities:

• Assist Underwriters in assessing risks and determining coverage positions.
• Underwrite new business proposals and review policy renewals.
• Support operational workflows and processes to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure timely and accurate follow-up on documentation.
• Coordinate with intermediaries to identify potential business opportunities.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments by analyzing data and evaluating information from various sources.
• Maintain and update underwriting guidelines and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior underwriters and other team members.
• Participate in client and broker meetings to discuss coverage options and negotiate terms.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new underwriting strategies and initiatives.
• Perform additional tasks and functions as assigned.

Requirements:

• A recognized Diploma or University Degree, preferably in Management, Accountancy, or Commerce.
• Preferably experience in the General Insurance industry with an Insurer, Reinsurer, or Broker.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
