Overview
We are seeking a Vendor Risk Manager on a 12-month contract to oversee and manage risks associated with vendors supplying workforce to our technology function. The Vendor Risk Manager will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks related to vendors providing workforce solutions to our technology teams. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders, ensuring vendor compliance with company standards, and maintaining a robust risk management framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vendor risk management, excellent analytical skills, and experience in the technology sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate and assess the risk profile of vendors supplying workforce to technology functions;
2. Execute vendor risk management strategies and frameworks;
3. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits of vendor performance and compliance;
4. Collaborate with technology teams to identify and address potential risks;
5. Ensure vendors adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements;
6. Maintain detailed records of vendor assessments, contracts, and compliance documents.
7. Monitor and report on vendor performance metrics and risk indicators;
8. Provide recommendations for risk mitigation and process improvements;
9. Manage and resolve any issues or escalations related to vendor performance and compliance;
10. Prepare and present regular risk assessment reports to senior management.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a related field;
2. 3-5 years of experience in vendor risk management, preferably in the technology sector;
3. Good understanding of risk management principles and best practices;
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities;
7. Preferred but not essential:
a. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to vendor management;
b. Experience in managing vendors supplying workforce solutions;
c. Familiarity with technology functions and workforce management in a tech environment.
