Cut-In / Out Test & Commissioning Engineer
Key Responsibilities
1) Review Circuitry/Book Wirings (BOW) to
▪ Write method statements, test checklist, test procedures and relevant technical documents.
▪ Identify Circuit Dependencies
▪ Identify implementation circuit sequence
▪ Review and preparation with Design team BOW before work commencement
▪ Identify Bill of Materials (BOM)
2) Defining the pre-requisites and the priorities for the T&C planning.
3) Managing the interfaces with the different entities.
4) Plan and coordinate the site tests.
5) Conduct Circuit testing (through and Function test)
6) Organizing the "readiness reviews" prior to the systems tests; follow-up the corrective actions mandatory before the systems tests start.
7) Participate the T&C Meetings to review requirements for T&C activities.
8) Produce and issue the T&C 4 Week Look Ahead planning.
9) Maintain the site always neat and tidy.
10) Able to understand the regulation and requirement of local electrical practice and SMRT/ LTA requirements.
11) Preparation of red markup drawings according to the site condition and approved modification.
12) Able to learn and pick up cut-in/cut-out of circuits for new systems or reroute cables / systems that required test and commissioning.
Requirements:
1. Minimum Academic Qualifications Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering OR Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Electronics & Computer Engineering
2. Language Proficiency Good in Written & Communication English Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, PowerPoint)
3. Past Experience Minimum 2 Year Experience in Design of Signalling Circuitry OR Minimum 2 Year Experience as Testing & Commissioning Engineer in Signalling Companies OR Minimum 2 Year Experience in Re-Signalling Circuitry Modification/Migration Works
4. Able to read the electrical scheme drawings and make necessary correction when required.
5. Familiar with working in and around live electrified railway systems. 6. Hands on experience in using Test Equipment like Multi meter, Scopemeter, etc.
7. Familiar with military codes for clarity of communication between teams
