What a HCD Design Director does at Visa Consulting and Analytics 

• You will serve as a Creative Director, lead design thinking with HCD approach, build new business and clientele, and support multiple products and services from the ground up.
• As a Director, you will join and lead engagement teams serving our clients and gain exposure to a spectrum of topics that are complex in scale and scope, intellectually demanding, and highly deadline driven.
• You will work in teams of typically 3 – 5 consultants/designers, taking charge of specific aspects of the project. You will do extensive research, source data, lead cocreations and contribute to identifying potential solutions for a specific client problem or challenge. 
• Design, lead and facilitate client workshops then synthesize insights into defensible visions, frameworks, and concepts using human-centered design and lean start-up processes.
• Rapidly convert ideas into working prototypes, meshing-together solutions/capabilities that exist within Visa or externally.
• Conduct and/or support in-depth market testing using various qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Develop a nuanced understanding of emerging digital payment trends as well as Visa’s capabilities and be able to apply them to clients’ business problems to actively engage with clients and co-develop meaningful solutions to address their challenges. 
• You will also present results to internal Visa stakeholders, client management and at-times implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members. 
• Contribute to key Practice building initiatives – Capability - IP generation, training, mentorship, team initiatives. 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare project tender documents and contracts.
• Participate in pre-tender activities with clients, architects, and project managers, and raise pre-bid queries.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for optimal prices and terms.
• Perform cost estimation, quantity take-offs, prepare BOM, source suppliers and quotations, verify claims, and prepare progress and variation claims.
• Coordinate with other departments and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalents.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in construction industry.
• Proficient in aluminium window and door systems, metal wall cladding, and glass curtain walls.

• Update existing HR policies, forms and employee handbooks.
• Handle HR-related inquiries and provide guidance.

Recruitment, Onboarding and Offboarding

• Source candidates through various channels.
• Work with hiring managers and coordinate hiring efforts.
• Process paperwork, orientation and onboarding process.
• Conduct exit interviews and manage offboarding process.

Compensation & Benefits and Health & safety

• Monitor changes and propose necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation.

• Work with government authorities and licensed contractors to ensure property related licenses and statutory requirements are kept valid and up to date (Fire Cert; FEDA; Bizsafe; OHSAS etc)
• Work with outsourced vendor and provide administrative support

HR Department Intern / Part-time

Pay: SGD 160/day, at least 3 days a week for over 3 months (or 24 hours a week).

Job Responsibilities:

1. Support various HR business modules, including compensation and performance, training and development, recruitment and deployment, employee relations (onboarding/offboarding), etc.
2. Understand staffing demands, develop recruitment plans, and assist recruitment colleagues in supporting daily recruitment tasks, including but not limited to managing candidates and tracking effects, feedback, market reserve candidate searches, etc.
3. Understand annual employee training needs, execute training plans according to department needs at different times, and coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth training operations.
4. Responsible for performance support work execution and management, including assisting the compensation manager and various departments in developing performance assessment plans, implementation and execution, performance data summarization and analysis.
5. Assist the compensation and benefits manager in completing the monthly payroll calculation for employees.
6. Responsible for executing corporate culture building, including conveying company culture values, organizing corporate culture activities, etc.
7. Other tasks assigned.

Position Requirements:

1. Intern: Master's degree or above, outstanding students, and HR-related internship experience preferred; Part-time: 2 years of corporate HR work experience.

2. HR major graduate or student, passionate and clear about long-term development and advancement in the HR field.

3. Good planning and execution abilities, interpersonal skills, organizational coordination abilities, communication skills, and ability to solve complex problems.

4. Some stress tolerance, able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

5. Singaporean or Malaysian citizens, the work language is English, and Chinese language skills for daily communication and conversation are preferred.

- With executive management, implement the organizational and talent strategy to support the company’s growth and expansion objectives, including talent recruitment, onboarding and retention

- Experience in developing and augmenting HR policies, processes, systems, and business partnering in a high-performance environment • Strong problem-solving approach that supports and enables efficient and effective decision-making amongst multiple stakeholders

- Sophisticated understanding of the talent needs of venture-backed, high-velocity startups

- Excellent communication, partnering, and relationship-building skills with a proven ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a wide range of internal and external partners, including our portfolio companies

- Strong verbal and written English communication skills; comfortable interacting and communicating with executive and senior management levels
