The HR Business Partner will provide support to the German Section and Preschool of the school.

The role will support designated departments in Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Performance Management, Engagement and Retention. Knowledge and Experience

· Bachelors’ degree in HR or business-related program

· 3-5 years of combined experience in a HR generalist role ideally in a Business Partner capacity

· Good German language proficiency skill to liaise with German clients, staff members and authorities is essential

· Experience with working in social media recruitment platform or creative sourcing techniques

· Experience of reporting and analysing indicative employee data (e.g. new hires requisitions, terminations, change of status, etc.)

We are seeking a Human Resources Executive (Payroll) to join our HR team in Singapore. This role will encompass various HR functions including recruitment, employee engagement, compensation and reward, and performance management cycles. Reporting to the HR Manager, the ideal candidate should embody resilience, positivity, offer creative solutions, and possess a deep understanding of the Singapore talent market and employment regulations.

Position: HR Executive (Payroll)
Location: Dempsey (Nearest MRT Napier Station)
Working Hours: 9 AM - 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day HR operations and administration, maintaining P-files, ensuring accurate employment documentation, and handling HR correspondence such as employee letters and onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Manage recruitment activities, including maintaining up-to-date job adverts and descriptions, posting adverts on job portals, coordinating candidate shortlists, scheduling interviews, and providing feedback.
• Assist with onboarding processes, including presentations and updating HR systems.
• Oversee monthly payroll processing, collaborating with the Whyze system for hours and overtime tracking, managing new joiner and leaver details, addressing payroll queries, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting, and securing necessary approvals.
• Manage benefits administration, including leave entitlements, medical claims, incentive payments, and resolving employee inquiries.
• Handle statutory reporting and filing requirements with CPF, IRAS, MOM, NS, and other government-related claims.
• Facilitate work pass applications, issuances, cancellations, and coordinate with relevant agencies on foreign employee matters.
• Support HR Lead in coordinating employee engagement initiatives, HR projects (such as analytics reporting, audits, training, talent management), and company events.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrates a passion for fostering positive workplace cultures.
• Experience in F&B or Hospitality industries and prior HR experience are advantageous, though full training will be provided based on experience.
• Possesses teamwork, goal-oriented, and highly motivated qualities with a strong sense of urgency.
• Exhibits excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills in fast-paced environments.
• Preferably familiar with Singapore labor laws and HR best practices following TAFEP guidelines.
• Ideally has one year of experience in HR or administrative functions, or holds a Diploma in HR or a related field.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
