Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the enterprise-level/key strategic project management initiatives from Initiation through Closure.
• Build out a schedule that addresses all key project areas (tasks, resources, dependencies, estimates) while challenging common assumptions to deliver quality on time, within budget, and within scope.
• Able to identify when adjustments are needed to a project’s triple constraints (scope, cost, time) regardless of the PM methodology (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) deployed.
• Identify risk/risks mitigation plan(s) and capture issues/plan, drive all necessary follow-through to minimize risks, and remove blockers.
• Leverage project documentation and lessons learned for future efforts.
• Provide thought leadership and advance the project management profession while continuing to grow in the knowledge of project management methodologies and leading practices.
• Develop and coach project team members so they understand what they are accountable for delivering and feel empowered to make the necessary decisions to deliver; provide adequate direction and support.
• Engage business stakeholders to apply PM principles to achieve their objectives and business drivers.
• Leverage organizational dynamics to influence outcomes through leadership and communication skills.
• Engage appropriate stakeholders in risk identification and mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Provide strategic guidance to the team, identifying opportunities to improve and innovate.
• Apply project management best practices and methodologies, ensuring that the project team is following established standards.
• Participate in project governance and oversight activities, including a persistent focus on RAIDD items, to ensure projects are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that projects are integrated and aligned with overall business strategies
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer or Information Science
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Supply Chain +
• PMP Certification +
• ScrumMaster Certification +
• 10+ years of experience, with a proven history of scheduling, managing, leading, and delivering projects from inception to close; demonstrated ability to identify and motivate resources, with the right skillset, to deliver the project scope.
