Main Tasks & Responsibilities :
The System Engineer is responsible for a sub-system along its lifecycle:
- Perform the engineering requirements analysis
- Provides required technical documentation:
• Design Documents (Preliminary, Final)
• Statement of Works for suppliers and external contractors
• Input/output requirement for Interfaces Management
• Input for specialty engineering: RAMS, EMC/EMI, Cyber-Security.
• Input for Installation Management
• Operation and Maintenance documentation
• Training material
- Assists the bid team to scope and cost engineering work packages
- Work with contractors to produce costing, ensure that they deliver on time
- Reports and follow-up the KPIs for the sub-system
- Participate to progress meetings
- Analyses and Correct the Problem Changes Requests

Pre-requisite :
QUALIFICATIONS
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or related discipline (essential)
- Higher degree qualifications are desirable.
- Demonstrated engineering competencies required for qualification to INCOSE CSEP (or equivalent, or ASEP) are highly desirable.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Engineering role
- Able to decipher technical scope from high level requirements
- Experience with Governmental and/or complex IT Projects
- Strong oral and written communications skills.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Experience working on Security projects
- Experience working within a Systems Engineering lifecycle
- Membership of relevant professional organisation, e.g. INCOSE, Institution of Engineers Singapore, etc.

Description:

- A SW Specifications, Design and Integration, SW Environment tools setup and configuration Engineer perform a subset of all the software engineering activities required to integrate and verify a solution / product.
- Prepares definition of documents or participates in the preparation in order to, comply with targets relating to costs, deadlines and quality.
Participates in the product integration and verification phases;
- Experience on Design, Software Development & Verification of DO – 178B Level A/B/C
- Assembly of the solution / product elements in a logical and controlled manner to evaluate the design, behaviour, interactions
and performance, and to confirm that the requirements against which the solution / product has been designed are fulfilled,
- Demonstration that the product data package is ready for release to production and to operation and support.
- A Software Solution Configuration & Change Management Engineer performs the following software engineering activities:
- Configuration Management of the Software Configuration Items and Components
- Change Management of the Software Solution

JOB DESCRIPTION – Network Engineer – Routing and Switching

Required Key Skills:

 Expert level knowledge in implementation and maintenance of Cisco Routers and Switches of all series.

 Good knowledge in Cisco IOS

 Good knowledge in implementation and operations support of NAC (network access control)

 Good knowledge in Aruba Clear Pass / Cisco ISE

 Good knowledge in Wireless Network / Access Points / Controllers support and

troubleshooting

 Expert level understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model

 Provide Level-2 technical support and troubleshooting to resolve issues

 CCNP certification

 Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, Packet Tracers and

network analytics tools

 Good knowledge on Firewall Products like Cisco ASA, FortiGate, Palo Alto, Checkpoint

Priority Tasks

 Workplace is at customer premises and staff has to follow instituted Workplace

securities

 Perform Problem resolution, escalation and/or closure of incident including problem analysis and identification of the source of the problem w.r.t Routing and Switching

 Perform configuration change activities

 Provide problem status to the Service Desk and/or update into the ticketing tool

according to the Procedures Manual

 Perform day-to-day Network operation for the Network Infra-structure and Network Equipment at the customer/Client premises, including performance monitoring, bandwidth monitoring.

 Work with customer's vendor to perform testing and preventative maintenance

according to the schedule provided by the customer for the Network Equipment

 Perform periodic OS upgrade and Patching as and when required.

 24X5 rotational shift onsite availability and 24X7 standby / remote support

availability as and when needed for critical incidents.

 Perform Problem resolution, escalation and/or closure of incident including problem analysis and identification of the source of the problem

 Provide proactive incident reports for all Network related problems, faults, events within TWENTY-FOUR (24) hours

 Respond to all fault calls inclusive of emails and other forms of communications for Firewall related issues and problems reported

 Escalate the problem to Vendors Support in timely manner and get the issue resolved within the specified time as agreed with the customer

 Provide multi-vendor equipment support across a wide range of models and types of networking equipment

 Maintain the inventory of certificates and install/update/renew certificates as and when required.

 Perform security activities like hardening/periodic health check/ ID validation and other compliance activities as per client security policies and standards.

 Maintain/Update client inventory list and compliance related databases or similar Databases.

 Maintain the device inventory list for the client when needed, Maintain the

software/firmware for all the devices up to date

 Subscribe to vendor notifications for the managed devices for vulnerabilities and review/validate/apply security patches pro-actively.

 Perform device activation / deactivation as per client service activation and

deactivation process.

 Maintain the IP address inventory and allocate new IP address when required by business.

 Engage third part vendors to resolve hardware issues and follow up till closure

 Monitor vendor End of Life / End of Support notifications for all In Scope Devices and inform the client.

Must have 4 skills : Windows + Linux + Cloud + Openshift

Infrastructure Management

•Drive infra project life cycle – Server provisioning to Cutover.

•Work with infra and app teams on requirement gathering to implementation.

•Review and analyze infrastructure architecture and identify the gaps.

• Expertise on Infrastructure Project builds / Management.

• Expertise in OS Administration ( Windows + Linux + AIX ), Apache, JBOSS, IBM WebSphere , IBM IHS , IIS Administration.

• Expertise in administering AWS Cloud, containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, ECS, EKS).

• Skilful knowledge on CHAOS Engineering.

• Candidate with operational experience, preferably in support of critical application systems will have an advantage.

• The candidate should have strong infrastructure/technical background with knowledge on Open Systems platform, Firewall and load balancer, and moderate information security knowledge

• Have good leadership skills in working with application teams and service providers in defining infrastructure deployment plan, cutover/migration strategy and test plan.

Operation & Process:

•Prepares technical project plans for new initiatives in BAU

•Collaborates with Application teams and other infra teams to develop technical solutions and enhancements.

•Drive the on boarding of new applications on to the production environment.

Maintain Security:

•In accordance with Bank’s security directives, assists to deploy, maintain, and enhance the security of all infrastructure systems through administrative, preventive, detective, and reactive controls, such as change and configuration management, anti-virus measures, patch management, and system scans.

Requiements

•At least 4-7 years of relevant Infrastructure support and OS administration

•Minimum 3 years hands-on working experience managing production application support

•Knowledge in MQ, Elastic Search, AWS would be preferred

•Hands-on experience in RHEL 6/7 OS patching, administration and shell scripting.

•Good command in Microsoft Office products.

•Experience in monitoring tools like Dynatrace would be handy.

•Must have good communication and writing skills. Able to drive meetings and coordinate different stakeholders.

24* 7 rotaional shifts

Minimum 4-6 at max years of experience and required familiarity with atleast 2 databases among Mysql/MariaDB, PostgreSQL/EDB, Oracle, MSSQL and Redis.

Participate in the 24/7 rotational shift including weekends.

Perform production support administration tasks including proactive monitoring, maintenance and on-call support to ensure availability and performance requirements are met.

Alert monitoring for all database flavours and take appropriate action.

Daily health monitoring of production database system and data integrity checks.

Perform daily backup monitoring and take action to have recovery soultion in place.

Managing the database availability and performance, including incident and problem management.

Carry out periodical production patch and upgrade management.

Work with users and vendors to take timely and appropriate steps to resolve and troubleshoot issues impacting service levels.

Basic knowledge of Linux operating system (RedHat)/AIX/Windows and basic commands.

Incident management to work with MIM(Major Incidenet Management) team to resolve/co-ordinate the high critical issues.
