• Migrate jobs from old scheduler JP1 to IBM Workload Automation
• Troubleshoot new and existing issues in current environment
• Test and implement new IWA features applicable to the current environment
• Develop new jobs for supported systems by demand
• Collaborate with system owners to clarify and cater business demands through automation
• Perform SIT and UAT before implementing to PROD
• Create release notes and runbook for PROD deployment and BAU support
• Execute basic MS SQL queries related to product troubleshooting
• Ensure correct AD user details for smooth job execution
• Run connectivity tests between IWA and remote servers
• Confirm folder and file permissions in remote servers for flawless job execution
• Work with IBM support for maximum product utilization
• Team up with other software SME to create a faultless system.
• Develop and deploy scripts and jobs to control scheduled activities, ETL and business processes
• Create API-based processes as the need arise
• Monitor job failures in Control-M and SkyBot, provide RCA, and resolve if possible
• Create incidents for job failures and technical issues, then assign it to the appropriate workgroup
• Respond to workload automation requests submitted by the stakeholders through ServiceNow
