The Role:

• Oversee and manage a complete set of accounts utilizing the ERP system.
• Supervise the Accounts Department, ensuring that all documents are accurately filed and archived for future reference.
• Conduct timely month-end financial closures and prepare management reports.
• Execute monthly stock reconciliations.
• Collaborate with software consultants regarding ERP-related issues.
• Take charge of the month-end closing procedures.
• Manage quarterly GST submissions.
• Prepare necessary audit schedules.
• Coordinate with external auditors.
• Engage with bankers concerning invoice financing and trust receipts.
• Ensure the proper renewal of all insurance policies.
• Facilitate the renewal of customs bank guarantees.
• Submit annual and quarterly statistical reports.
• Handle license renewals.
• Work with IT consultants to address network-related issues.
• Complete ad hoc tasks as assigned.

What we are looking for:

• Degree holder in Accountancy/Finance/Business/ACCA, or equivalent
• Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience within the trading industry or a related field.
• Able to work independently to handle full sets of accounts.
