The Role:
- Administer and maintain the day-to-day operations of the servers & networking system.
- Organise, install and support organisation's computer systems including LAN, WAN, network segments and intranet.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuity of services.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect the company's IT infrastructure.
- Provide IT support to end users.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Document system configurations, processes and procedures for future reference.
What are we looking for?
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related field with at least 1 year working experience in IT
- Applications with Diploma in Computer Science or any related field with at least 5 years working experience in IT may also be considered.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and services such as MS Azure.
- Familiarity with other operating systems such as Linux.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware.
- Certifications in above knowledges will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical problem-solving skills with innovative approach in providing solutions.
- Competent at documenting standard/application operating procedures, process, and work instructions.
- Good communication skills and a team player
