Mission Description

This position is required to design, implement, integrate, develop and deliver sub-system or interfaces during development life cycle. It needs to meet on time, on cost and quality delivery.

• Mainly work with the team of Developers/Integrators and Project Manager throughout software development life cycle;
• Produce detailed design specification by referring to the global design specification;
• Responsible for implementation and unit test for sub-system or interfaces, and ensure code quality;
• Provide technical support (enhancement or bug fixes) during system integration test, user acceptance test, system commissioning, and maintenance phases;
• Apply best practices, compliance policy in software development;
• Strive for continuous improvement in terms of process, quality and efficiency;
• Will be assigned to work on product development and delivery of projects

Technical Skills

• At least 3 years' experience in object-oriented software development;
• Experience in writing Design Documentation, Object-Oriented Software Design;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering / Computer Science or a relevant discipline;
• You should have extensive knowledge on Java EE, JSON, Hibernate/Spring Framework, Angular JS
• Ideally you should be familiar with open source technologies like Kubernetes, kafka, Drools, JBPS, Elasticstack etc
• Experience in Mobile Application Development (IOS and Android) will be an added advantage;
• Good written and verbal communication skills;
• Self-motivated, independent and a good team player
• Able to work under pressure
• Innovative mindset and think-out-of-the-box

Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers to implement and support data distribution solution.
• Design an optimal onboarding process with clear visibility of the various life cycle of a product.
• Contribute, influence, and validate the design of data distribution solutions to ensure they meet both business and operational needs.
• Perform data access control operations to ensure data ingested and distributed comply with enterprise data governance and data handling standards.
• Lead the dataset registration conversation with business and metadata team to ensure that the dataset are properly registered.
• Document the business requirements clearly.
• Perform user acceptance testing on the data distribution channel and ensure that it meets the requirements.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in assigned area of work

Skillset

• 2 to 3 years of working experience, with relevant experience in data management and the financial services industry.
• Good understanding of the principles, key controls and processesrelating to data management, as well as data integration and data distribution.
• Familiarity with data visualization tool (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) and data virtualization technology such as Denodo will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skill with passion in complex problem solving.
• Basic coding skill will be advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skill to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Agile, fast learner and able to adapt to changes.
• Experience with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) implementation methodology and/or Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.

• Managing end-to-end connectivity and data acquisition, including configuring data sources.
• Supporting activities across various teams to ensure equipment connectivity, following established processes and methodologies.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams and both global and local digital teams to ensure task completion.
• Implementing components to facilitate data acquisition into data historians.
• Setting up configurations for protocol translation and aggregation to enable remote control of equipment.
• Supporting and participating in E2E testing processes to ensure connectivity.
• Defining and executing qualification tests according to validation strategies.
• Creating documentation, such as interface documentation for equipment to/from data historians and configuration proof documents as needed.
