Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing software in Python and associated technologies using the Quartz platform
• Responsible for developing Web UI in JavaScript, React and other libraries
• Participating fully in the development process through the entire software lifecycle using Scrum/Kanban practices
• Responsible for providing specific, measurable and accurate estimates on short timescales in an intellectually challenging environment
• Responsible for communicating and collaborating with business users for requirements, progress, delivery and support
• Responsible for collaborative improvement of the team

Key Requirements

• Global Markets experience or demonstrable potential to adapt to global markets and risk environment;
• Ability to display that candidate can multitask and perform in a time pressured environment
• Excellent general programming skills with 8+ years of experience
• 3+ years of experience in Python is highly desirable
• 3+ years of Web UI development using Javascript and React framework
• Understanding and experience in Scrum or Kanban
• Strong written and verbal communications
• Team player and willingness to work with different groups across regions

Job Description:

Roles an Responsibilities:

• Create, program, and validate interactive web application dashboards, with a focus on user-friendly design.
• Construct web applications using established HTML/CSS techniques and integrate backend database information.
• Develop and maintain team workflows to ensure transparency and equilibrium.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and managers to comprehend requirements and define project specifications.
• Supervise and enhance operational tools, systems, and processes, actively participating in both tactical and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure software stability through regression, provide QA support, and conduct unit and user-acceptance tests to identify issues.
• Manage UI design, coding, and the establishment of reusable elements and wireframes for web pages.
• Routinely backup files to local directories.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technological advancements.

Experience:

• Direct experience with developing web-services (REST or GraphQL) using Typescript, Java or Kotlin.
• Knowledge of Web application development using Angular and Typescript.
• Practical experience of Object-Oriented programming, and knowledge of common design patterns.
• Knowledge of source control tools is required – git is preferred.
• Well versed in the full software development lifecycle (Agile practice).
• Ability to work in teams or independently, action-oriented, and possesses strong drive for results.
• Focus, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
