About The Role
- Full P&L responsibility for the Vitamins & Carotenoids Product Platform in Human Nutrition APAC
- Beyond P&L, responsible to drive, further develop and fulfill operational, sustainability, and reliability targets in Sales of Human Nutrition for Vitamins and Carotenoids
- Develop the organization in line with our business strategy for Human Nutrition
- Disciplinary Leadership and management of sales professionals and technical service in daily operations along all steps of the sales process
How You Will Do It
Strategy development:
- Develop and implement the regional go-to-market and account strategies in line with the business strategy; ensure account plans are fully executed with all internal and external stakeholders
- Represent the region in the strategic dialogue with the Global Business Unit (GBU) to develop future strategic options
- Understanding and reporting of market trends
- Focus on implementing regional customer portfolio strategy
- Further development and management of our local distribution strategy
Sales management:
- Optimize sales turnovers in line with business strategy, improve profitability and identify areas of improvement by analyzing and benchmarking the regional business internally and externally, steering the business team, assessing new opportunities, establishing key account concepts and recommending exiting from unprofitable businesses
- Drive for volume growth via hunting in key markets for key products in line with business strategy. Optimize business for maximum efficiency per sales channel.
- Direct the development and maintenance of operational forecasts regarding volumes, market share, financial requirements and human resources needs and monitor projected effect
Customer Management:
- Strengthen and cultivate high level relationships with key existing and potential customers/ distributors
- Key contact for problem escalation and resolution with customers and internal stakeholders
- Mange regional Distribution Network
- New Business Development and opportunity pipeline management short- to long-term
Annual Business Planning:
- Direct and realize the annual operational (budgeting) & middle-&-long term strategic planning of the regional business by setting sales volume, selling price and profitability targets per through negotiation and coordinating the relevant business activities with supply and sales organizations.
What We Look For
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business management, Human Nutrition or other related studies.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Marketing and Sales with broad knowledge in business operations in direct or virtual team management.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
