Job opening 1: Residential
- Perform gas installation work and gas supply turn-on in domestic units
- Perform soundness test on gas installation.
- Perform site survey on gas installation feasibility and rectification work.
- Ensure gas installation comply with the Code of Practice (SS608), Regulations, SOP etc.
- Coordinate with the relevant authorities (e.g. SPPG, SCDF, HDB, EMA) and other external agencies on installation matters.
- Attend to customer enquiries/ feedback and perform service recoveries.
- Report writing.
Job opening 2: Commercial
- Oversee the gas installation works conducted by outsourced contractors in compliance with regulatory requirements, code of practices and Standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Ensure that the tools and equipment for related works are adequate and properly maintained for operational readiness.
- Attend to customers’ feedback, queries and complaints.
- Coordinate gas installation projects submitted by M&E consultants, Professional Engineers and Licensed Gas Service Workers.
- Conduct Inspections of gas installation and witness final pressure test, ensuring timely & safe completion for turn-on of gas supply.
- Perform standby duties after office hours.
Job opening 3: Investigation & Maintenance
- Attend to reported gas incidents and gas supply abnormalities such as gas fires, poor gas supply pressure, suspected gas leaks, etc.
- Perform site investigations and rectification work inclusive of co-ordination work with the relevant authorities (e.g. SPPG, SCDF, HDB, EMA) and other external agencies and submission of reports.
- Attend to customer service requests, e.g. install/ replace/ trouble-shoot gas appliances, perform servicing of gas stoves, carry out soundness tests on gas installations, etc.
- Handle customers’ enquiries/ feedback and perform service recoveries.
- Investigate and report on matters related to meter readings abnormality.
- Attend to meter cut-off and account due related matters.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Nitec in Mechanical or any Engineering discipline.
- Relevant work experience and technical knowledge in gas, plumbing, sanitary, or electrical systems will be an advantage.
- Able to work independently and as a team player.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in contract management and customer service.
- Possess a driving license (class 2 & 3), preferably with access to personal transport.
