Key Responsibilities:

• Client Support: Deliver advanced onsite support, assisting clients with troubleshooting, design, configuration, and escalated problem management for network-related issues.
• Project Collaboration: Act as a crucial team member in analyzing client requirements, developing specifications, designing solutions, and supporting testing and deployment processes.
• Technology Leadership: Serve as the technology lead for Cisco ACI and other networking technologies, proposing enhancements and optimizing network functionality.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 5-8 years of technical experience in software development, systems design, network engineering, or infrastructure management within a large-scale MNC technology services environment.
• LAN/WAN Expertise: Proven experience in designing and building complex LAN and large-scale WAN networks, including a deep understanding of routing/switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).
• Data Center & SDN Proficiency: Hands-on experience with data center networking solutions using Software Defined Networking (SDN) tools such as Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, or OpenFlow protocols.
• LAN Switches: Extensive experience with LAN switch management, especially with Cisco and Huawei equipment.
• Campus Network & SDA: Demonstrated experience designing and deploying campus networks with Software Defined Access (SDA) solutions from Cisco or other SDA vendors.
• Network Automation: Skilled in network automation using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby) or tools such as Ansible, Algosec, and Chef.

Working Hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
• Fridays: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
• Days Off: Not required to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support for Teaching and Learning:

• Assist teachers with technical issues related to projectors and sound systems in classrooms, lecture theatres, computer labs, and seminar rooms.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting and problem resolution during lessons.

1. Event Support:

• Prepare, set up, position, connect, and configure audio-visual (AV) equipment for live audiences and simultaneous broadcasts to staff and students.
• Collaborate with event coordinators to ensure smooth operation of AV systems during school events.

1. Equipment Maintenance:

• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of faulty AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks on AV equipment regularly.

1. Asset Management:

• Conduct routine inventory checks of AV equipment in preparation for internal and external audits.
• Maintain organized records of equipment status and usage.

1. Facilities Management:

• Support the management of contractors in carrying out periodic maintenance of school facilities related to AV equipment.

1. Event and Examination Support:

• Assist during school-wide events and examinations, ensuring all AV equipment is functional and properly set up.

1. Training and Coaching:

• Coach members of the FSV Society in operating AV equipment, fostering skills and knowledge within the student body.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Education:

• National ITE Certificate (Nitec) or its equivalent in audio and video specializations, with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Nitec in other fields may be considered.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in conventional AV equipment and reasonably competent in dedicated digital media broadcast and production equipment.

Communication Skills:

• Proficiency in English (oral and written) to facilitate effective communication with staff and students.

Computer Skills:

• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Interpersonal Skills:

• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and external vendors, demonstrating good teamwork and communication abilities.
