This role provides extensive pre and post sales support for medical and hospital Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) Solutions/ Products to ITS Science & Medical Pte Ltd's customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide on-site user application support to customers on-site or virtually by visits, phone calls, email communications;
• Assist the sales team in tender presentation and product demonstrations;
• Assist Product Manager and/or Service Unit in setting up the system parameters, running evaluation, correlation, and validation based on hospital protocol, and work with service engineers as required during installation;
• Assist in systems result troubleshooting;
• Conduct user training and operator certification, including Safety reporting and escalation;
• Manage workflow in single or multi-site settings, and enhance efficiency across all laboratory disciplines with Laboratory Information System (LIS) solutions.
• Provide LIS support for the laboratory and Hospital Information System (HIS) support including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Point-of-care instrumentation system;
• Accurately document and track changes made to the Point-of-care instrumentation system.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent, with a background preferably in any point-of-care (POCT) instrumentation system and Health Information and Technology;
• Prior work experience from point-of-care instrumentation systems in local government or private institutions would be an added advantage;
• Familiar with HIS or LIS systems support;
• Good communication & presentation skills (well-versed in both spoken and written English);
• Good computer skills, especially in MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint);
• Well disciplined, self-motivated, and able to work independently;
• Meticulous and organized personality;
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt

POSITION SUMMARY

This candidate is a key member of the Company’s sales team and is responsible to perform product demonstrations, technical trainings and application services to customers, working alongside with the sales team to drive revenues and market growth of Life Science products and related services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Applications training: Presentation on technology relevant to instrumentation prior to hands-on section
• Hands-on training: Hardware and software
• Troubleshooting
• To hold user meetings, workshops, seminars to update products information on instrumentation and support chemistry
• To troubleshoot issues related to instruments, software, reagents and experimental designed
• To connect and integrate available or customize technologies to cater customers’ needs, take lead in scientific discussions, analyse their needs and match them with our offering products
• Support sales team in order to achieve growth target as a team
• Preparation of technical documents and reports
• Manage demo lab and ensure good laboratory practices: demo instruments, facilities and chemical inventory
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Master / PhD in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Microbiology, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Chemical Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or related disciplines
• At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience of scientific equipment operation and troubleshooting as well as laboratory inventory management
