Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of new features and improvements for our mobile applications, ensuring robustness, performance, and a great user experience.
• Write code that is reusable, scalable and testable with limited guidance. Make sure products are delivered on time and with high quality.
• Participate in the maintenance of existing mobile applications, including bug fixing and performance enhancements.
• Participate in technical discussions with other engineering teams.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.
• Write unit and integration tests. Collaborate with QAs to make sure our app releases are bug free.
• Work closely with the product and design teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for critical support issues, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining high application uptime

Qualification:

• 5+ years of mobile development experience, 3+ years of Flutter engineering experience.
• Fluent in Dart programming language and Flutter ecosystem.
• Understanding of programming paradigms such as OOP, TDD, reactive programming and dependency injection.
• Working knowledge of several architectural approaches including clean architecture like MVVM.
• Experience in writing maintainable and testable code, including API design, unit testing and UI testing techniques.

Salt is looking for a Mobile Test Engineer for one of our tech clients in Singapore for 12-months & extendable contract assignment.

Job Scope :

• Develop & Execute Test Plans: Define and implement test plans, specifications, and suites for functional, security, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Product Managers and Developers to understand features and derive test cases.
• Debug & Report Issues: Analyze logs, API responses, and debug failed test cases, reporting bugs with detailed information.
• Automate Testing: Execute and maintain UI and API automation suites, add test cases for new features and regression testing.
• Enhance Automation Framework: Understand and improve the automation framework, addressing script and data issues

Job Qualification :

• 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, Automation Engineer, or Software Development Engineer in Test.
• Proficiency in testing iOS, Android apps, and Backend APIs.
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium), testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, TestNG), and programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Golang, Python).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand product implementation and analyze logs and API responses at the micro-service level.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including weekly sprints and release cycles.
• Understanding of database concepts and queries (MySQL)
