Responsible for systems administration, application disaster recovery, system security and performance monitoring
Automate builds, testing and deployments pipelines in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environment
Maintain and improve hybrid (cloud and on-premises) auto scaling infrastructure through the implementation of Infrastructure-as-Code (IAC) and other methodologies
Implement monitoring systems to maintain overall stability and efficiency of the systems
Collaborate with teams to perform incident resolution and root cause analysis
Develop scripts to drive automation and as well as improve the monitoring of services
Investigate and develop skills in new technologies, collaborate across the company
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
Strong knowledge in Gitlabs, Jenkins, Kubernetes and Dockers development
Two (2) or more years’ experience in CI/CD environment
Experienced in technology infrastructure domains such as compute server platforms, storage server platforms, server components, cloud technologies and architectures
Good knowledge on CentOS, RHEL
Experienced in an CI/CD environment with a good understanding of change/version control process and methodologies
Understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IAC) and cloud computing operations
Familiar with using modern toolset (e.g Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Gitlab, JIRA, Confluence, JIRA, Kubernetes, Docker, Nginx, HAProxy, Redis, etc)
Familiar with operating and configuration of log management tool (Graylog, Splunk)
Familiar with operating and configuration of messaging queue tool (RabbitMQ)
Possess clear understanding of the Development/SIT/UAT/Production environment requirements
Hands-on cloud experience with AWS, Azure or GCP is a plus

Manage IT operations including managing servers, active directory, backups,virtualisation, storage and other infrastructure related tools.
Comfortable with hands-on technical responsibilities and be on-the-ground to assess and solve technical problems.
Participate in IT infrastructure projects, audits, and routine exercises such as Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises.
Manage and follow up with IT vendors on IT service level delivery, infrastructure/hardware issues and errors.
Collaborate with all sites of IT vendors as well as internal application project and support teams to provide technical knows-how related to infrastructure and security.
Ensure security, compliance, governance, and policies are adhered to Perform periodic reviews.
Drive standardization of infrastructure, security including policies and procedures.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Computer Studies or Computer Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of IT related experience in infrastructure and operations within which at least more than 8 years of Linux platforms technologies experience.
Strong familiarity with server, virtualization, security, backup, storage and hardware
Working knowledge of cloud administration. Knowledge on GCP will be an additional advantage.
Experience in Cloud and Hybrid (On-premises / Cloud) architectural environment an advantage.
Have good experience and proven track records in project management, stakeholder management and vendor management.
Strong leadership, people management skills, excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Possesses ITIL, ITSM certifications.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
