• Manage and administer OAFA's annual summer immersion programme for high school students, that include:
  • Partnering with units across SMU on programme delivery and content.
  • Sourcing for, and liaising with, external vendors on programme delivery.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in data governance or data quality related roles
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent field

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Experience with data analysis or data governance tools such as Informatica IDMC, Collibra desired

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

• Own end-to-end development and execution of Data Science and ML/AI models/solution using Azure cloud platform
• Work closely with Data Science (Business), Engineering and Design teams to define and build Data Science and AI/ML products that help organization drive data-driven decisions
• Act as the Data Engineering and Data Quality expert for Data Science use cases
• Work with Data Engineering team and Architects to define Data Science and ML/AI technology landscape
• Handle multiple agencies to drive the Data Science products to success

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or significant course work in other computer-related fields of study
• More than 5 years or more total experiences in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Quality Management and Project Management
• Certified in Project Management Professional
• Strong knowledge on SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, MSSQL, ETL/ELT, Unix Shell Scripting

Job Scope:

• To assist Technical Manager/Superintendent in all technical and safety matters concerning designated vessels and to implement the technical and safety policies of the Company on these vessels as directed by Technical Manager.
• Carrying out repair maintenance and servicing of vessels as per the instructions of the Technical Manager/Superintendent
• Monitor all vessels to ensure that the certificates are up to date and monitor overall safety, technical and commercial operations
• Evaluate and enhance a good management of inventory supply of spare parts/stores, both deck and engine equipment manuals, drawings and certificates accounted for all vessels
• To review engineering design/drawings, technical specifications and documentation while undertaking new delivery in meeting project specifications
• Assist to conduct vessel condition inspection and safety meetings with ship crew
• Joint involvement in preparation and conducting internal audits and attendance to external audits, Sire with proper close out for both shipboard and office; in accordance to SMM & Company's procedures
• Advising the Master and Chief Engineer of planned maintenance and maintenance work to be carried out by the ship’s staff and arranging this.
• Assist in the maintenance of safety equipment to legislative requirements and Company standards onboard vessels.

The requirements will be

• Diploma in marine or mechanical engineering.
• Seagoing experience as a Third or Fourth Engineer (at least COC Class 4/5) on board tankers.
