Singapore-based, leading IT Solutions and Services provider specialized in Cloud services, IT services, IT infrastructure management and Network security. My client is seeking an adept Account Manager who is well versed in the field on IT Solutions Sales to join their dynamic team.

Job description

• Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the group IT systems.
• Maintain and update existing group systems in accordance with established processes and standards.
• Provide reliable and efficient local support for the office, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain the existing group systems, ensuring they are in line with appropriate processes and standards.
• Provide local support for the office, which consists of approximately 40 people.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuity of services.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect the company's IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments.
• Proficiency in system administration tasks such as resources deployment, system updates, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills to effectively support and train users.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good to have

• Experience with PowerShell scripting and/or Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Knowledge of network administration and security protocols.
• Familiarity with other operating systems such as Linux.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware.
• Certification in relevant IT fields (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, CompTIA Network+).

Network Administration Shall administer the network equipment, either on-site or remotely, which shall minimally include the following:

(a) Checking the logs of the network equipment and network links every morning to ensure no abnormal activities;

(b) Install, maintain and upgrade all hardware, firmware and software used;

(c) Apply software and security patches as prescribed in Part 2C Patch Management Requirements;

(d) Fine-tune the network or system parameters;

(e) Patch/Re-Patch cables in patch panels, network points and all network equipment.

1. The Vendor’s support personnel who are managing the network must be trained and minimally be proficient in the following areas:

6. Firewall rules configuration and security setting; and
7. IDS/IPS, CDN implementation and IPv6;
8. (b) The Vendor network support engineer shall have at least three
9. (3) years of hands-on experience in configuring routers/switches (e.g., Cisco and Alcatel), firewalls, and intrusion detection/protection systems.
10. (c) The network support engineer shall minimally have the Cisco Certified Network Engineer certification, or equivalent, and have experience in WAN implementation.
