RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Senior Vice President, Technical Services to provide actuarial services and analysis to the underwriting, claims, business development, reinsurance and finance managers.
• Introduce best practice actuarial science to the business process including premium rating
• Actuarial monitoring report to monitor portfolio performance on accident year basis
• Technical pricing and rate reviews
• Predictive analytics to assist other departments with decision making
• Develop awareness and understanding of actuarial analysis
• Put in place actuarial best practice
• Guide junior team members and make presentations to senior members of Business Units
• Undertake any other duties as may be assigned.

• Preferably with Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics degree and currently pursuing professional qualifications from the Casualty Actuarial Society/Institute of Actuaries/Institute of Actuaries of Australia
• Should ideally be one to two years from obtaining the professional qualification above

• Knowledge and experience in general insurance actuarial practice especially in areas of premium rating, portfolio monitoring, reserving, risk/financial/capital modelling
• Statistical knowledge
• Good understanding of data, actuarial software and programming languages including analytics and visualisation tools
• Preferably with experience in a consultancy firm or/and general insurance company
• Ideally a minimum of 2 years experience in a general insurance actuarial practice
• Business oriented, able to suggest practical recommendations

• Excellent practical understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
• Should have expertise in Graph analytics
• Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc
• Expertise in domain like AML and Compliance

• Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase
• Would be able to conceptualize requirement, Selecting features, building and optimizing models using machine learning techniques

• Extending company’s data with third party sources of information when needed
• Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
• Hands-on experience on Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
• Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of performance of models
• Should have great communication skills

The Building Technical Manager plays a pivotal role in collaborating with the General Manager to holistically manage the diverse portfolio of subsidiaries operating under the purview of the Asia-Pacific Regional Headquarters.

(A) Essential Job Functions

• Facilitating seamless communication channels with subsidiary managers to procure a diverse array of materials and reports for meticulous review and endorsement by APRHQ.
• Vigilantly monitoring the progress of potential projects, meticulously updating their status until the prestigious awarding phase.
• Scrutinizing tender documents with unparalleled attention to detail, overseeing each stage of the tendering process with precision and finesse.
• Providing expert counsel on program formulation by subsidiaries during the tendering phase.
• Spearheading the orchestration of pivotal tender-related meetings, from the inaugural kickoff assembly to the decisive branch manager approval session.
• Extending invaluable support in crafting proposals and navigating construction contracts during resource constraints within subsidiary manpower.
• Exercising astute oversight over program development by subsidiaries during the contractual phase.
• Proactively identifying and curating a roster of potential suppliers across Asia, fostering strategic procurement collaborations with each subsidiary.
• Systematically collating and analyzing monthly project reports from subsidiary entities, meticulously evaluating progress and cost metrics before disseminating comprehensive feedback for approval.
• Championing the standardization of formats and guidelines to optimize the operational landscape of the Asia-Pacific business domain.
• Geographic Scope: Encompassing Singapore, the ASEAN regions, and Oceania.

(B) Minimum Qualifications / Job Experience:

• Possession of a bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Building, or Engineering disciplines.
• A minimum of a decade's worth of hands-on experience in project management within the dynamic realm of Building Construction Business.
• Proven track record in navigating the intricacies of international construction projects.
• Proficiency in overseeing projects of at least level 4 complexity.
• Demonstrable expertise in cost/budget control, procurement, main contract administration, and subcontract administration.
• Prior exposure to collaborating with Japanese corporations.
• Willingness to undertake frequent overseas business travel.

(C) Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:

• In-depth understanding of architectural intricacies[HH1] , working drawings[HH2] , and globally recognized construction practices.
• Proficiency in Project Management methodologies and frameworks.
• Fundamental comprehension of international construction laws, including but not limited to FIDIC regulations.
• Familiarity with international standards such as BS, ASTM, among others.
• Knowledgeable about sustainability frameworks like LEED and their integration into construction practices.
• Exceptional organizational acumen and interpersonal finesse.
• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously or as an integral part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Proven experience with enterprise data integration technologies across all aspects of solutioning including IT roadmap / conceptual architecture, technical due diligence / planning, design and solution delivery.
• Gathers and understanding requirements from business analysts, I.T. department and identifies the platform and architecture of the system Familiarity with architectural modelling technique (e.g. UML, ERD, etc.)
• Responsibilities include support & maintenance of the existing systems, performance tuning, automation, governance of the projects, solution reviews.
• Deep understanding of Application, Infrastructure and security architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability etc.
• Translate functional requirements to design.
• Work with technical SMEs to understand their requirements and ensure these are met.
• Lead activities to build accelerators and tools to increase the quality of deliverables.
• Evaluates industry technologies to shape design of services in consideration of cost, portability, compatibility, or usability factors.

Essential Requirements (Skills Requirements)

• Hands-on IT professional with minimum 10 years of Software Development experience with 5+ years of experience as an Architect/Manager
• Experienced in architecting Digital solutions involving Omni Channels.
• Solid exposure on Content Management Systems preferably Adobe Experience Manager.
• Experience in implementing Mobile applications and platforms.
• Experience in enterprise application integration using middleware tools.
• Experience in designing secure web and mobile solutions.
• Should have 10+ years of hands-on experience in web application development using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server with Front End Technologies using Angular, React, Bootstrap, HTML 5, jQuery, CSS 3, AJAX, JSON.
• Minimum 2+ years of working experience in Rule Engine Decision platform development using Inrule
• Minimum 4+ years of working experience in cloud native application design and development.
• Experienced in Architecture and Design using UML.
• Exposure on Infrastructure Sizing for applications and Web application security.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering API/SOA/Middleware integration projects
• Experience with middleware/messaging technologies such as MQ, JMS, Kafka and exposure to event-driven design patterns
• Demonstrated knowledge of OAuth token-based authentication protocol.
• Demonstrated knowledge of PCI and Security Coding Standards.
• Experienced in Azure Kubernetes Service(AKS) and API Management using Azure API Gateway(APIM).
• Experienced in DevOps automation, containerization and orchestration.
• Defining CI/CD pipelines to automate test and release across different application environments using concepts such as Blue/Green and Canary deployments and related technologies. (Azure Devops, Jenkins)
• Experienced in designing & developing solutions using PowerApps and Power Automate

• Experience in gaming and Hospitality industry would be an advantage
