Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Design and Embedded Systems Engineer with over 10+ years of experience in hardware electronics and embedded systems. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing, prototyping, and delivering high-quality hardware solutions for automotive and mobility electronics. This role requires a strong focus on innovation, quality assurance, and project management.
Responsibilities:
Lead hardware design projects from concept to production, ensuring adherence to ISO26262, IEC61508, and SIL standards.
Oversee product estimation, planning, and change management to meet delivery timelines and maintain quality benchmarks.
Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
Manage cross-functional teams, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely product delivery.
Perform risk assessments, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to address challenges.
Execute hardware testing, including unit and integration tests, and validate software-hardware integration.
Prepare technical documentation such as schematics, BOMs, and engineering specifications.
Conduct field failure analysis and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Projects:
Design and validation of automotive electronic systems like electric steering control units and instrument clusters.
Development of mobility solutions such as platform screen doors with advanced safety features.
Embedded product design for two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and industrial automation systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or equivalent.
Extensive experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and protocols such as CAN, UART, RS232, SPI, and I2C.
Proficiency in hardware design tools like Altium Designer and OrCAD, along with testing tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
Strong understanding of DFMEA, IATF16949, EMI/EMC testing, and reliability assurance.
