The Job:

• To provide preventive maintenance and repair on material handling equipment within a specialized or technical field

The Person:

• Nitec/Higher Nitec in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Technical knowledge in electrical system, basic engine, and hydraulic system
• Basic IT knowledge
• Able to interpret complex electrical circuit diagrams and problem-solving skills
• Must possess class 3 driving license

Key Responsibilities:

• Helps to prepare project plan and coordinates project activities from planning to implementation. Maintain matrix for process improvements.
• Coordinates project schedule and task details and helps to prepare reports, tracking charts, checklists, and project scheduling.
• Helps to align the progress of resources internal to the business unit to meet project on-time and budget performance objectives.
• Tracks project costs and schedules for internal and external customers.
• On occasion will interface with external suppliers and monitor and report on the project's progress against quality and cost metrics.
• Interfaces with internal customers and reports on progress against project objectives.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Reduce customer configuration issues.
• Complete configuration compares and correct issues before tool shipment.
• Participate in Configuration Accuracy Review Meetings - including the review of prior quality issues for similar systems.
• Reduce customer Install costs.
• Identify and correct issues and customer concerns as they surface.
• Drive customer quality performance and prevent repeat issues.
• Reduce customer Install Cycle Time (from shipment to system install completion.
• Quickly respond to issues impacting system installs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for software and hardware installation/troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation for SSS end users.
• Coordinate with the SATS Vendor, SMITH, for any IT-related hardware or software issues.
• Interpret basic system diagrams to assist with troubleshooting and planning for network setups and equipment configurations.
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical, network, and mechanical issues as needed.
• Register and update new and existing Win2K IDs for Ground-star/GOPS.
• Collaborate with the OPS Tech Team to assist with projects, tasks, and other assignments as needed.
• Offer Level 1 support for both existing and new systems, handling initial troubleshooting and resolving basic issues before escalating to the Development Team.
• Work closely with the Ops Logistics Support team to maintain records for hardware and IT systems, ensure timely renewals of maintenance contracts, and ensure vendor compliance.
• Provide hands-on technical support to resolve system malfunctions.

What You Will Do

• Verify all Maintenance History File (MHF) worksheets & release certificates from vendors is complete & with accurate information of work performed.
• Ensure operation personnel rectify any non-conformities identified during the maintenance history file (MHF) documentation checks.
• Participate in engine pre-induction meeting with various stakeholder.
• To ensure that all reports/release tags/material labels, tally with physical identification of parts & components that was issued to engine assembly.
• Perform engine logbook review i.e. LCF calculation including LRU TSN & TSO calculation & various assigned Gate inspections processes during engine shop visit.
• Ensure availability of correct record i.e. Lift limited Parts, back to birth records in work packages for continuing Airworthiness & other certificates / document as required per PWC Quality procedures.
• Ensure history records of engine shop visit are well maintained and secured for review i.e. archiving of MHF and storage of history records at PWC or at approved vendor.
• Verify and prepare document required for releasing finished product back to service.
• Ensure timely delivery of completed engine release packet to the customers manager.
• Compile critical data and ensure information accuracy in established shop visit report formats for delivery to Customers.
• Perform data loading in Quality Control System Track System.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Diploma in Aviation, Aerospace, Engineering, or any other related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience in Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) facility, production planning or scheduling.
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skill.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skill.
• Flexible to commit working overtime to support business on need basis.

• CAAS papers (engine category) will be an asset for skill development and career growth.
