What will you be doing?

• Work with HOD to update policy, guidelines and setup processes, in the area of IT Application security, governance and risk management. Support IT Audit activities, as and when required.
• Project manage vendors to design and implement IT Systems to support Business Units and their processes; to comply to all IT security, development, deployment and change management guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the development, testing, and production environments
• Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
• Ensure security and compliance across all infrastructure and software deployments.
• Manage vendors to ensure smooth and reliable operation of systems. Monitor system performance and availability, addressing any issues as they arise.
• Support IT Helpdesk activities and manage Vendors on tracking of IT tickets raised.
• Look for opportunities to automate repetitive tasks to increase efficiency and consistency.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Senior Technology DevOps Engineer or in similar IT roles.
• Proven experience in administering and supporting ERP System, HR System, MS Sharepoint and Corporate Website.
• 1-2 years of experience in project management. PMI certified or experience in Agile project methodology is good to have.
• Min 3 years experience in managing and negotiation with vendors/contractors for cost-effective and innovative IT solutions, including monitoring of SLA and IT helpdesk activities.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Strong process automation and scripting skills (Python, C++, RPA Tools etc.).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration abilities.
• Fluency in English.

Job Description :

• Retail sales selling paint, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, household, locks products in hardware store
• Key in sales into POS system, do daily opening and closing of accounts
• Opening and closing of store
• Operate paint mixing machine
• Stock take and stock ordering
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping duties
• Demonstrate excellent salesmanship, maintain a positive attitude, work and collaborate effectively with person in charge
• Fulfill any additional ad-hoc tasks delegated by the superior.

Job Requirements:

• Deliver friendly and approachable customer service.
• Possess basic computer skills to operate POS system.
• Be physcially fit to carry heavy loads, eg. 20L paint cans
• Willingness to work a 6-day week and on public holidays, adhering to retail hours from 8.30am to 8.30pm, with a fixed weekday off.
• Candidates with prior retail experience, especially in hardware store/products, are preferred.
• Available to commence work immediately or within a short notice period.
• Applicants without prior experience but with a keen interest in customer service and IT proficiency are encouraged to apply.
