We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems for credit card companies. This role requires expertise in Java and a background in creating, enhancing, and maintaining CRM systems with a focus on collections and settlements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the CRM system supports credit card-specific workflows and meets high standards for security, scalability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

1. Credit Card CRM Development

• Design, develop, and maintain CRM system features tailored to credit card operations,
• including customer data management, collections, and settlement processes.
• Work with stakeholders to understand the specific needs of credit card customers and integrate those requirements into the CRM system.
• Develop secure, high-performance solutions that meet regulatory requirements and ensure data integrity across CRM modules.

2. Collections and Settlements Module Development

• Build and enhance collections workflows within the CRM, including automated reminders, tracking, and escalation processes.
• Develop settlement features to support financial reconciliation and reporting, with integrations for third-party and in-house payment processing.
• Implement logic for credit card transaction lifecycle management, including tracking balances, fees, and repayment schedules.

3. Backend Development

• Use Java frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot) to build robust, scalable backend services that support CRM functions.
• Design and manage databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) optimized for handling customer, collections, and transaction data.
• Implement data privacy, encryption, and security best practices to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

4. Testing, Deployment, and Maintenance

• Conduct thorough testing for collections and settlement modules to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Monitor CRM system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply updates or enhancements as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in developing and optimizing collections and settlement workflows within a CRM system.
• Understanding of compliance, data security, and privacy requirements specific to the financial industry.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a focus on CRM development for financial services, particularly in credit card operations.
• Strong expertise in Java and Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Knowledge of databases and data management best practices, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and integration for credit card workflows.

Who we are looking for

As Group Head of Credit & Risk, you will

• Assume overall responsibility for establishing, overseeing, and managing the core credit & operational risk responsibilities across the Group
• Develop policies and procedures necessary for operating and managing the risk management framework, and oversee their implementation
• Participate in or lead risk and other control committees established for Singapore and each of the operating markets for the Group
• Supervise the development of new processes and procedures related to risk management, serving as the primary point of contact for all risk-related matters

Responsibilities:

The position is involved with Credit, Market, Operational and Liquidity risks across the Group while the main focus shall be on Credit Risk, with the following responsibilities:

Credit Policies & Procedures

• Review and oversee the Credit Risk Management policy for each of the operating markets and review/update it from time to time while ensuring compliance with the relevant local regulations
• Set up and oversee the procedure and guidelines for the establishing of credit committee, ALCO committee etc. across each of the operating markets
• Set objectives for measuring, monitoring, evaluating and mitigating the risk exposure at each operating market and ensure that they are reported in a timely manner to regulatory entities and the Group management
• Supervising the Risk Management department in each of the operating markets

Risk Asset Review

• Review of credit risk in accordance with the established Credit Rating System and Credit quality assessment
• Ensure that risks are properly addressed in terms of compliance with existing rules and regulations established by internal, local and international regulators
• Ensure that classified loans are reported and properly administered as per the applicable Group policy

Portfolio Management

• Establish procedure and execute portfolio and product level Profitability and Risk analysis for the Group
• Develop predictive dynamic monitoring procedures/system for Risk Management departments across the Group

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in risk management within the financial services industry, both at an operating country as well as regional level
• Comprehensive knowledge of credit, market, operational, and regulatory risks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders across all levels
• Proven track record of leadership and team management
• Strong analytical skill with primary focus in risk and control areas but possesses the ability to apply a commercial lens and pragmatic approach with respect to strategic business benefits realization.
• Proven track record of delivery controls/operational risk management within Financial Services sector

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree or Post-Graduate Degree in Civil or Electronic Engineering from recognised Unversity or Institution.
• Min. 5 Year(s) of practical experience in the execution of specialist building works of Electronic. (whether in Singapore or overseas)
• Track records to show previous projects that took charge.
• Knowledge of relevant Statutory requirements and compliances.
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate with people of all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Project.
