Roles & Responsibilities

- Check all drawings, specifications and schedule of works/ bills of quantities in contract document and report for discrepancies found, if any.

- Carry out inspections, site supervision to ensure that all works (including structural works, M&E and architectural works) are carried out as per approved specification & drawings with the approved material and the appropriate sequent and method;

- Carry out standing supervision to the construction of the permanent structural elements of the building works (Piling, Pile load test, installation of ground Anchor, concreting, stressing of tendon etc.)

- To ensure that the Building works are carried out in accordance with the provision of the Statutory Acts & Regulations;

- Witness & verify any field test carried out on site;

- Witness and verify any Testing & Commissioning of services installed for the Building;

- Verify reports and claims submitted by Builder;

- Monitor and report progress of the works on site;

- Escalate any issues to relevant parties immediately and ensure issues were resolved for works to move on.

- Enforce quality and safety control on site and be proactive in resolving and managing site issues;

Requirements

• Possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent and accredited by Institute of Engineer Singapore (IES) / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).

Roles and Responsibilities:
Large Installation Testing:

• Inspect and test unlicensed electrical installation to ensure that it is safe to receive electricity supply
• Liaise with stakeholders (LEW/SPPG etc) on arranging an appointment for supply turn-on for residential premises above 45KVA and sample unit inspection of electrical installation
• Perform sample unit inspection and pre-turn on of residential units of private residential development
• Arrange and attend photovoltaics (PV) system testing
• Participate in productivity projects and user acceptance testing such as RPA and IT system upgrades
• Conduct metering setup site checks as requested by Engineer

Small Installation Testing:

• Perform inspection, testing and turn-on of electricity supply to customer’s electrical installation.
• Liaise with principals in removal of meters, de-energizing the incoming supply and removal of service cables
• Coordinate with external parties such as LEWs, SPPG, government authorities and etc, for performing inspection, testing, turn-on and investigation work.

Requirements:

• Diploma in an Electrical discipline
• 1-2 years relevant experience
• Possess Class 2/2A/2B/3 driving license and own vehicle preferred
• Knowledge in MS Office
• Conversant in Singapore Standard SS 638, SS 650 & Electricity Regulations
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills
