We are seeking an experienced Technical Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics Customer Insights to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in helping clients leverage the power of Dynamics 365 Customer Insights (CI) to improve customer engagement, optimize business processes, and gain actionable insights. The consultant will design, implement, and customize solutions that integrate with various data systems to deliver personalized customer journeys and insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design and Development:Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and propose innovative solutions using Microsoft Dynamics Customer Insights.
Customize and configure the CI environment, including data ingestion pipelines, audience segmentation, customer profiles, and data unification models.
- Integration and Data Management:Integrate CI with other systems (e.g., Dynamics 365 CRM, ERP, Azure services, Power Platform, and third-party applications).
Design data models, data flows, and APIs to ensure seamless data ingestion, enrichment, and export.
Ensure data quality and establish best practices for data governance and compliance with GDPR and other relevant standards.
- Implementation and Support:Oversee the end-to-end deployment of Customer Insights solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical specifications.
Provide hands-on technical support during UAT, system testing, and post-deployment stages.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configurations, and user manuals.
- Client Engagement and Consulting:Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on best practices for customer data platforms, analytics, and actionable insights.
Conduct training sessions for end-users and administrators on the effective use of Customer Insights and its features.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, development, data science) to align technical delivery with business goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, with a focus on Customer Insights.
- Strong understanding of customer data platforms (CDPs) and how they drive customer engagement and analytics.
- Expertise in data modeling, data transformation (ETL), and integration with external data sources.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, or related cloud services.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics 365 Sales, Marketing, or Customer Service) and their integration with CI.
- Strong programming knowledge (e.g., Power Automate, JavaScript, C#, or SQL).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide customer support.
- Experience with data governance, privacy laws (e.g., GDPR), and data security best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
