Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Systems Architect with a keen interest in the payment industry and IT software. As a Systems Architect, you will have the opportunity to design and oversee the architecture of payment technologies in a cloud-native environment, gaining valuable insights and experience within our innovative team.

Agile and proactive, you will contribute to the conception of cloud-native infrastructures, based on containers and microservices, and bring expertise on tools (Kubernetes, Kafka, OpenSearch, …) and integrations (API architecture, event-based architecture...).

Within the market team, you will closely work with HPS customers and contribute to the implementation of PowerCARD product in several environments: on premises, PaaS (OpenShift), Cloud (AWS)… in a complete devops environment (CI/CD).

Missions

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Communication Operations Engineer to join our team and provide oversight for the design, implementation, and management of SIA Group's Network operations. The primary objective of this role is to ensure maximum network availability and functionality to help SIA achieve its business objectives

Responsibilities includes:

•Continuous transformation of the network infrastructure to enhance availability and automation

•Offer network consultancy project support to ensure that IT services comply with SIA architecture and standards

•Create technical solutions for complex requirements

•Run large-scale network operations, including strong service management knowledge in a multi-vendor environment

•Have Level 2 and preferably L3 experience in various networking technologies including

oSDWAN (Cisco Viptela, Versa, etc

oWireless (Aruba)

oVoice, Contact centre and Collaboration

oLAN (Cisco and Aruba)

oNAC (ISE and Clearpass)

oAutomation experience (Ansible or Python)

•Possess relevant knowledge and experience in cloud technologies

•Track, POC and plan technology refresh

•Deliver large-scale IT projects on time, within budget and of satisfactory quality

•Manage outsourced vendor(s) and internal team including various Service Delivery meetings

•Lead and coordinate incident resolution across different vendors

•Ability to work in a team with 24*7 support

Requirements:

•Degree with at least 6-10 years of network experience in managing Network Operation in a multi-vendor(s) environment on at least two of the following multiple domains:

oSecurity,

oNetwork Automation

•Relevant certifications in Networking (e.g. Cisco, Aruba, Versa) are preferred

•Understanding of SDWAN, Voice, Wireless and LAN architectures, experience in planning, design & implementation of Network infrastructure

What we seek to accomplish together:

• Perform shift duty to support 24x7 DC Operations stand-by duties for emergency.
• Assist to oversee the IT equipment hardware inventory on individual rack inside the DC
• On-site Management of works conducted within the Data Centre such as site preparation, site survey, network cabling, electrical wiring, air-conditioning, building power supply (including power generator) tests, infrastructure & System maintenance, on-site/off-site standby activities etc
• Coordinate preventive maintenance for Data Centre downstream infrastructure which includes Uninterruptible Power Suppler (UPS) systems, Water Detection systems, Fire Suppression systems, PDU, CCTV systems, Card Access systems etc.
• Operate Electronic Visitation Management System (Update Authorizer and customer access request accurately and promptly).
• Remote Hand Support (Media Management, Visual Inspection, Reboot devices, staging room, Physical connect/disconnect of HDD, network cable connectivity test, insertion of fibre SFP).
• Handle input and output media with due care for integrity of data and utility of media for subsequent use, including off-site storage.
• Perform Event Monitoring for Data Centre Facilities infrastructure to ensure they are functioning optimally (e.g. UPS, power, temperature control, humidity, water detection sensor, etc.)
• Perform event monitoring for IT Systems and Network infrastructure.
• Perform incident escalation. Ensure incidents are responded and attended to. To redirect for 2nd or 3rd Level resolution base on criticality, impact and customer Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Manage and mitigate escalations of high impact system failures and assist in tracking the incidents till closure.
