Job Description

• Design and develop modules for existing application and be involved in code reviews
• Test and validate software functions and modules to ensure functionality and reliability
• Perform and manage stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and involvement in systems review with Project Manager
• Conduct software/hardware troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
• Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders to resolve issues and improve solutions

The Successful Applicant

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/ Electronics, Computer Engineering or Computer Science from a recognised Polytechnic/University
• Experience in both front-end and back-end technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Flutter, React, etc is an advantaged
• Experience in SQL and Oracle/Postgres database

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for testing, operate and maintain automated machinery
• Involve in developing and implementing Logistics System, improvement upgrades, maximize efficiency, control maintenance costs and reduce downtime.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/Degree in Mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar field.
• Experience in automation control products such as Siemens IPC, PLC, HMI, SCADA, TIA portal, Various drives and Software hardware.
• Knowledge on Auto CAD, Microsoft PowerPoint and Operation System knowledge will be preferred. Experience with automation equipment such as Conveyors, Lifter, ASRS. Food Procession machines and robotics systems.
• Skills on the electrical testing equipment, dB readings, Inverters settings, Calibration.

About the role:

You will be part of a cross-functional, self-organizing agile squad to support the development and testing of a national app in the public sector. In your capacity as the Mobile Application specialist in the squad, you will be developing native iOS mobile apps (iOS Swift) and working with fellow mobile engineers, integration, and test-automation engineers to integrate and consume the APIs.

Job responsibilities:

• Participate in Squad’s agile planning, delivery, review, and discussion sessions as both an individual specialist and part of the self-organizing agile squad.
