Co-Development Business Unit is hiring for Technical Product Manager

What will you do?

• Work closely with Product Owner, Product Manager and Development Team on project schedule, issues and escalation.
• Plan for and justify project IT resource allocation, including securing approval; monitor and track project resource usage.
• Work with Product Owner and Product Manager to craft and refine user stories by providing technical analysis; and building the Product Backlog with prioritization.
• Review and participate in technical proposal or solution, system design and architecture to ensure they are of quality, while adhering to all standards, governance, and policies.
• Propose feasible ideas and solutions or engage subject matter expert to provide aid and improve the quality of the product.
• Coordinate with relevant project teams of interfacing systems to ensure smooth end-to-end workflows can be achieved reliably, and efficiently.
• Work with Product Owner, Product Manager and Development Team to plan and design UAT, coordinate and monitor progress and ensure acceptance of UAT.
• Review and ensure that all documentations are complete and of quality.
• Maintain and continuously refine Product Backlog.

What are we looking for?

• Have strong background in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related technical discipline.
• Have minimal 3 years business analyst experience in software development projects and working experience in an Agile environment and Cloud platform.
• Possess the ability to work effectively and independently under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask and to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Possess business case and user-stories development skills.
• Good communication skills, ability to articulate technology concepts, participate in discussions on requirements with stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills, ability to partner and work effectively across teams and with business stakeholders in development as well as problem solving.
• Good knowledge of web, mobile and Cloud technologies, and their impact and feasibility on design solutions.
• Experience with Confluence, JIRA, GitLab, SonarQube, BPM modelling techniques and methods will be an added advantage.

Product Data Quality is a high-value risk management team in Operations that, across all firm divisions, is responsible for the governance programs that ensure critical securities modeling and pricing data is accurate, complete, and scalable.  This data is a critical input and dependency to most trade and client support functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare to gain a comprehensive understanding of all product types and interact with traders, strategists, and other operations professionals
• Proactively resolve data exceptions, dive deep into technical issues to investigate and fix complex issues spanning multiple teams and vendors, and partner with business partners to analyze and implement solutions for new business reference data needs 
• Partner with a team of global product experts to leverage knowledge to resolving comprehensive reference data problems that involve multiple stakeholders across multiple teams and divisions
• Showcase your attention to detail and ability to master all aspects of product and pricing reference data and further interpret their attributes to all downstream systems which depend on these same attributes
• Develop strong and effective relationships with critical vendors which supply reference data so that they uplift their controls and provide the most pristine product possible to the firm
• Highlight your ideas for improving processes and implement them globally to impact and uplift the entire process
• Work with senior technologists and project managers on key projects that are re-shaping the reference data support model that is utilized across the entire financial industry

Position Duties

• Managing all aspects of product development and user experience for existing and new products
• Responsible for the product team’s definition and communication of product requirements and specifications by thinking creatively and rigorously about how to solve problems
• Enforcing customer centricity in the product development cycle
• Establish and implement the overall product strategy in collaboration with the leadership team, product owners and functional teams
• Design, benchmark, iterate and report on product roadmaps at multiple timescale (multiyear, yearly, quarterly and sprint-level)

• Responsible for prioritizing the backlog of features and work with CTO on constantly addressing technical legacy and debt.

• Directly manage, recruit, train and retain the teams consisting of Product Manager(5) and UI/UX (3)
• Work closely with the CEO and engage the leadership team to drive the Company’s strategic plans in terms of resources allocation, market expansion and product growth in order to build a compelling vision to stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Regularly measure effectiveness of plan versus reality and update plans and/or execution accordingly

• 15 years of relevant  experience, including 5 years in product management and 5 years in a managerial role overseeing at least a team of 10 direct reports
• Robust technical background in data and technology
• Keen interest in AI and its transformative potential
• Strong interpersonal and communication and leadership skills
