Cycling Without Age Singapore Ltd
We are a charity with IPC status with a mission of engaging our seniors in happy hours of community activities to reduce social isolation. We uses Nostalgic & Reminisce as theory of change. Nostalgia elevates positive self-regard, increases the implicit accessibility of positive self-attributes, and attenuates self-esteem defense. Nostalgia is a social emotion; it has been said that, during nostalgic reverie, “the mind is ‘peopled”. Nostalgia strengthens social bonds and magnifies perceptions of social support, thus counteracting the effect of loneliness.
