The appointee will assist Director Finance in the implementation of Finance related projects and provide administrative support for Board Standing Committees.
[What you will be working on]
Responsibilities:-
Assist in assessing, evaluating, implementing, monitoring and reporting of Finance transformation initiatives with a view to improve efficacy of Finance operations
Assist in the implementation and subsequent enhancement of Public Sector Sustainability Reporting by the Polytechnic
Provide administrative support for Board standing committees including Audit Committee and Investment Committee
Liaison for Risk Management and Business Continuity matters relating to Department of Finance
Handle administrative matters and ad hoc assignments which are assigned by Director Finance from time to time
[What we are looking for]
Requirements:-
Relevant qualifications in Accountancy/Business or equivalent
Good communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills
Ability to influence and engage effectively with various stakeholders
Self-driven, able to work independently with minimal supervision
Team player
Excellent administrative and organising skills
Good knowledge of MS suite of applications (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
The appointee will have opportunities to be rotated to other roles within Finance Department.
Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
