Job Description

Our Technical RnD & Training Assistant will be supporting the development of our technical operations.

You will assist the Technical Director in managing all technical-related matters, which includes:

• Documenting and maintaining accurate records of all technical findings, solutions and improvements.

The Information Systems Technology and Design (ISTD) Pillar invites applications to fill several Tenure Track faculty positions. Appointments will be at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Highly qualified applicants with a substantial track record of research accomplishments, an active research program, and strong teaching experience may be considered for appointment as Tenured Full Professor.

Faculty duties include teaching subjects at the undergraduate and graduate levels, research, supervision of students, advising undergraduate student projects, and service to the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and the community. At the start of employment, candidates should hold a Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related field. Candidates for senior positions must demonstrate the ability to successfully create and manage an independent research program. • Manage active directory, server, server virtualization, Cisco switches and routers.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in IT or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience as network engineer in a MNC environment.
• Good project management experience in implementing network and Cloud solutions.
• Strong knowledge of executing systems integration and infrastructure deployment.
• Solid hands-on practical experience in managing enterprise firewalls, routers, switches, proxy servers, domain name servers (DNS), bandwidth management system, IPS/IDS and server/platform system.
• MCSE certification a plus
• CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP certification a plus

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing offshore vendor in functional testing for banking application
• Analyse and review requirements
• Work closely with Business Analysts and Developers on understanding requirements
• Define test coverage and create test cases with test data
• Review test case and test evidence from vendor
• Execute manual test
• Run automation test and update automation test script when required
• Participate in performance test when required
• Ensure defects are logged with proper closure in Defect Management System
• Perform other tasks as and when assigned

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with min. 3 years of testing experience in banking application
• Experience in working with offshore vendor is preferable
• Experience in Automation Test or Performance Test is preferable
• Familiar in JIRA Defect Management System
