The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in pre-sales, specializing in designing and proposing cutting-edge network security solutions for enterprise clients. This role will involve engaging with clients, understanding their network security requirements, and designing solutions that address their challenges while ensuring compliance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and understand customer network security requirements.
• Conduct discovery sessions to evaluate current client environments and propose optimal network security solutions.

Solution Design & Proposal:

• Design robust and scalable network security architectures tailored to client needs.
• Prepare and deliver detailed proposals, presentations, and Statements of Work (SOW).

Technical Demonstrations:

• Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs), demonstrations, and workshops to showcase the value of proposed solutions.

Collaboration:

• Work with internal teams, including engineering, delivery, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of proposed solutions.
• Support the transition of projects from pre-sales to post-sales phases.

Market Expertise:

• Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in network security, including Zero Trust, SD-WAN, and SASE frameworks.
• Advise clients on compliance requirements like GDPR, ISO 27001, and other relevant standards.

Documentation:

• Create detailed documentation, network diagrams, and use cases for proposed solutions.

Requirements:

1. Experience:Minimum 8 years of experience in pre-sales for network security solutions.
   Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting complex network security architectures in enterprise environments.
   
2. Certifications (Mandatory):CCIE Security (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert - Security)
   PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer)
   CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
   NSE 4 or higher (Fortinet Network Security Expert)
   
3. Technical Skills:Strong understanding of firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point).
   Expertise in VPNs, IDS/IPS, SD-WAN, DDoS protection, and network segmentation.
   Familiarity with cloud-native security in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
   Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and SIEM platforms like Splunk or QRadar.
   
4. Soft Skills:Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.
   Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
   Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
   
5. Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Budget and Financial Management:

• Assist the Director in preparing and managing the annual catering revenue and expense budget.

• Support in maintaining monthly revenue and expense forecasts within the specified variance.

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and event details using the hotel’s CRM system.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement in the wedding sales processes.
• Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Sales leads, manages and oversees the room sales, room reservations & event sales for the hotel, ensuring maximisation of revenue. The Director of Sales collaborates & aligns the management team and extended teams to develop & implement strategies that are financially viable for the hotel; and in return, achieve profit & product leadership. This role requires a sales focused leader who understands hospitality sales, reservations, revenue management, and event planning & execution.

1. Works with the General Manager & extended teams to develop a sales & events plan that identifies market niche and segments & defines a tactical plan to focus on these.

2. Monitor and review sales production and adjust sales & events activities, account coverage and sales priorities in order to achieve / exceed planned goals.

3. Implementing sales plans that drive incremental occupancy, increase average rates and grow event sales.

4. Optimise room utilization by accessing the demand and supply for rooms & reservations.

5. Review reports & sales forecast to analyze current/potential market & sales trends.

7. Prepares necessary reports for management reporting.

8. Identifying, soliciting, influencing and converting highly valuable revenue opportunities.

9. Developing & maximising relationships with selected key accounts.

15. Attend selected trade shows and market events to promote new business and increase sales and marketing opportunities for the hotel.

16. Propose and oversee the set-up of a viable sales administration system covering portfolio management to meet sales team’s needs.

17. Responsible for the people management of the sales team including but not limited to recruitment, performance management and development of the team.

18. Coach and develop team members; inspire and motivate sales success, effectively manage team and individual performance to achieve success metrics.

19. Communicates a clear & consistent message regarding departmental goals to produce desired results.

20. To maintain flexibility to perform other duties and projects as required and deemed necessary to support the Hotel’s overall business objectives.

· Minimum 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry in areas of Sales & Events management

Job scope:

• Coordinating with engineering, construction and liaise with the client on detail engineering requirements.
• Prepare quotation, budget plan and submission to have approval from project engineer or manager.
• Prepare method of statement, lifting plan and work schedule to provide safety personnel to prepare risk assessment.
• Prepare MTO and raise MR for all materials required for the project.
• Responsible for equipment installation, structure installation, piping erection operations and pipe support installation in accordance with schedule, procedures, specifications, priorities and availability of construction drawings.
• Handling all the technical queries and investigating all the work related problems, including the drawing of field sketches when necessary.
• Review of Project specification, ISO drawings and P&ID.
• Responsible for counter checking by ISO drawings, P&ID and GA drawings for the correct location, orientation, alignment and plumpness.
• Carrying out final P&ID check of installed piping systems in the module. Preparation of “AS BUILT” drawings.
