The Role Responsibilities

• Design detailed network infrastructure solutions, specifically focusing on MPLS-IP technologies and backbone network design.
• Interface with customers and internal teams to define design requirements and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with system-wide designers to integrate services and with suppliers and vendors for product definitions.
• Evaluate and select the most suitable products and systems, providing detailed cost analyses.
• Lead and guide test engineers to deliver testing activities within stringent timelines.
• Maintain oversight of all design and interface tasks, ensuring timely progress and adherence to specifications.
• Produce and expedite critical deliverables, including engineering drawings, specifications, design reports, calculations, and equipment details.

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

• Profound professional knowledge in network detailed design and implementations, focusing on technologies such as SDH, MPLS-TP, IP/MPLS, Ethernet, and others.
• Experienced in cable network design (fiber, copper, structured cabling), 4G/5G/WiFi network design, and infrastructure design (Virtualization, VMWare, Windows, Linux, IT services).
• Strong capabilities in network security design and implementation, including cybersecurity measures (Hardening, Firewall, Antivirus, etc.).
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python.
• Preferred certifications: Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA), Huawei Certified ICT Associate (HCIA), Huawei Certified ICT Professional (HCIP), or Juniper Certified Internet Expert (JNCIE).

Preferred Experience:

• Direct experience designing with Huawei or Nokia MPLS-IP products.
• Previous involvement in projects that do not require on-site implementation, focusing instead on design support and review.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, showing initiative and resourcefulness in problem-solving.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical details and interacting effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

Direct Responsibilities

· Must have 7+ years of technical experience.

· Review designs from Technical Teams/Vendor (where applicable)

· Review solutions from Technical Teams/Vendors (from functional view point that it fulfils the requirements objectively)

· To review SIT cases, analyse defect(s) raised by Test team; Liaise with internal Product Owner and/or vendor on fixes delivery date

· To define UAT cases/plan and be a liaison between project stakeholders and testing team during Testing Phase. Ensure defects reported are tracked, follow-up and closed timely. Establish and maintain close communication with Business and Operation to support day-to-day operation

· Provide support on clarification during SIT/UAT, Regression testing and Rehearsal testing

· To working independently to resolve issues and/or identify solutions and escalate in timely manner.

· To supports and plan for users’ participation in Deployments and Implementation Users Sanity and/or Penny Testing (PVT)

· Perform business and functional analysis (end to end) for Cash Management services wrt to the reporting platform and products for Asia Pacific countries;

· Provide viable solutions that improve operational efficiency, user experience, and delivers business initiatives that is inline with Solution

· Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to details, strong work ethic, team spirit, exceptional customer serving attitude. Operations experience will be added advantage

· Produce requirements in the form of Users Story to vendors and review vendor FS (where applicable), review and sign-off the artefacts and solutions produced by the vendor (where applicable). Drive User Story grooming with vendor and closes all doubts from vendor.

· To identify and map information requirement between bank internal systems and external parties i.e. Clearing House, Partner Banks, Local Service Providers or Outsourced Service Providers. Continuous update of the Application Interface Specification

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and timely technical information, advice, and assistance regarding the organization's products and services before, during, and after a transaction to maintain and improve the organization's customer relationships.
• Deliver customer operator training in Abbott facilities or on-site
• Perform new instrument and assay implementations through to Test-of–Record
• Provide on-site assay investigation and troubleshooting related to instruments, software reagents and experimental designed
• Provide operator training and coaching on assay and instrument (hardware and software)

• Track assay issues and escalation cases for reporting and work closely with global teams to maintain records and solve issues
• Use databases or other computerized systems to maintain up-to-date customer records, to track the volume, content and outcomes of enquiries received, and to access information, checklists, scripts, guidelines, and other materials for responding to the customer’s enquiry.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science/ Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or other related disciplines
• Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience and proven track record in a diagnostic laboratory in a similar position
• Strong stakeholder management skills with proven engagements with customers, key stakeholders, and lab staff
• Good knowledge in Technical Assay and systems to act as expert for product line responsibility
• Highly developed communication skills and ability to demonstrate empathy and engagement with customers
• Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues
• Strong experience in use of analytical tools and software
• Must be willing and able to be on standby after work hours/ work overtime to resolve issues when arises
