Duties & Responsibilities of this position include but not limited to:
· Work under the control and direction of CRE/PM overseeing MEICA engineering.
· Review and understand ICA scope, BIM, specifications, and drawings for all ICA works.
· Understand and follow plans, procedures, workflows, systems, and tools for the supervision.
· Work with the BIM model for the ICA and other MEICA works.
· Provide regular updates to the Engineering Manager and CRE on related technical and engineering issues.
· Work closely with Project Mangers to understand the technical and engineering issues facing by each contract, prioritize and work closely with each discipline team to resolve the issues.
· Enforce specifications and codes of practice.
· Stay up to date with the ICA works progress and upcoming works through various means such as review of contractor works notices, WhatsApp group(s) and communications with the Resident Engineers.
· Ensure inspection documentation fully complies with local authorities’ and project requirements.
· Verify that safety and environmental standards and risks are addressed in submittal reviews and monitor safety and environmental compliance during construction, installation, testing and commissioning.
· Provide technical input and assistance in contract-related matters.
· Liaise and coordinate relevant technical issues with RE’s of other disciplines.
· Ensure he adequacy of engineering, inspection, and testing functions for all contracts.
· Ensure that consistent quality standards and conformance with design plans and specifications are maintained across all contracts.
· Ensure the contractors’ documentation of their works meet the required project standards.
· Keep and maintain updated site record to ensure records are up to date and in good order.
· Any other ad hoc duties required by your supervisor.
Requirements:
· Relevant Diploma or Certification.
· Minimum 5yrs experience in quality assurance inspection on Used Water/Water Projects in Singapore.
· Experience working with BIM and 3D models is desired.
· Understanding of SCADA, PLC, network architecture design and of experience in the design and implementation of Ethernet based networks.
· Understand control system software engineering issues so as to appreciate the interface requirements.
· Be familiar with water process instrumentation including advanced analyzer.
