• The Data Center Operation technician has overall responsibility to support the troubleshooting and coordinating activities pertaining to the day-to-day support of the data centers and critical facilities. responsible for troubleshooting, managing the vendors/contractors and report to the Data Center Operation Site Lead.

Job Description

The Network Technician is responsible for installing, amending, and removing unnecessary cablings and other network peripherals. The activities may include but not limited to:

• Install wall-functioning computer networks, connections, and cabling.
• Rack and Dismount Network Device.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance and asset sighting.
• Perform Ocular inspections and regular site visits.
• Ensure tidiness within managed rack and cable organization.
• Perform connectivity test and Physical triage.

Environmental Conditions

• Temperature (Check the location of the temperature and inform the authority or our engineer)
• Other Environmental Factors (Dust, Dirt etc.), if Duty then need to clean the rack or space where device is located.
• Physical Health of Device (Randomly need to check the device health).
• AGV Preventive Maintenance.
• Rack Mount and Dismount (Installation, Removal and Addition)

Labelling

• Labelling Condition (verify labelling of device, if not okay then need to relabel the device.

Qualification and Competencies

• Experienced in Layer 1 Physical administration in enterprise DC and Port Environment.
• Min Diploma or its equivalent (IT related)
• 1 to 2 years experience in hands-on experience with common software and hardware installation and deployment
• Mount and Installation of new network Peripherals
• Test Cable Connectivity
• Working at height
• Incident Handling for L1 Issues
• Good Team Player and also able to work independently
• Proven experience as network technician or relevant position
• Cable Testing
• Basic Network Connectivity Testing

• Driving License Class 3 (Must possess)
• CCNA/CCNA Trained (Optional)

Pre-Requisite

• Able to work during holidays and weekends
• Able to work as standby for any break fix related concerns
• Required to wear PPE (safety garments) during onsite visits including boots
• Willing to attend courses provided (relevant to job scope)
• no issue performing work at height
• No respiratory related illness (i.e. Asthma) due to work nature

Associate System Engineer / System Engineer (2 years contract renewable)

5 days, 8.30am- 5.50pm

Salary: $2800- $3000 (AE), $3500 (System engineer) + Allowance

Location: East, and clients site whenever required

Job scope:

• To provide support on maintenance project.
• Handle system administration, network support, implementation, troubleshooting in Windows / Linux / Unix.
• Hands on experience in managing LAN / WAN / Routers / Switches / DNS / VPN and Firewall is preferred.

Requirements:
