Job Title: Senior Software Quality Engineer (contract)

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain test cases, test plans ensuring that they are up to date with requirements and policy changes.
Create, maintain and improve the automated test framework and test environments.
Conduct testing on new features and file defects.
Perform various tests such as manual/functional/performance/exploratory tests support UATs.
Assist in resolving production cases; Participate in all agile ceremonies.

Requirements:

Degree in Computing, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Infocomm- related discipline with Minimum 5 years of professional software quality testing experience with hands-on automation
Strong understanding of testing techniques; Strong understanding of test-driven development, continuous integration and continuous delivery Experience with open-source automated testing frameworks (i.e., Robot, Appium, Selenium) or Enterprise level testing tools (e.g., HP Mobile Center, HP UFT, HP QC, Sprinter)

Experience with open-source performance testing tools (i.e., JMeter, Gatling, Locust) or enterprise level testing tools (HP LoadRunner)
Experience with open-source penetration testing tools (ZAP, Burp Suite, SQL Map) or enterprise level penetration testing tools (HP WebInspect, Nessus, CheckMarx)
Working experience in Agile environment will be an added advantage.

• Analyze, design, program, test, document and maintain IT systems or applications
• Provide maintenance support to customers (internal and/or external) by investigating and rectifying reported systems shortcomings.
• Analyze requests for enhancements/changes and write amendment/program specifications.
• Update system documentation.
• Perform and manage stages of the SDLC and participate in the systems review with Project Lead/Manager.
• Understand the interdependencies of the services (application, system and database) and able to pin-point problem areas accurately to improve overall efficiency.

• Use development tools to develop applications for better productivity.
• Develop test cases, conduct SIT, load test and tune the performance of systems to meet SLA.
• Deploy systems to production and provide post-implementation support.
• Provide technical guidance to junior colleagues in their work.
• Keep abreast of technological advancement, emerging standards and new software or hardware solutions that may affect decisions about system builds or enhancements.
• Any other duties as and when assigned.

Requirements:

• Experienced in developing enterprise web applications and web services.

• Experienced in developing mobile applications is advantageous.

• Experienced with Agile methodology is advantageous.

• Microsoft related certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will analyze business needs and operational workflows to implement technological solutions (e.g., Microsoft 365) aimed at reducing manual processes and enhancing efficiency for local and international subsidiaries. Key responsibilities include:

1. Business AnalysisIdentify business requirements and challenges to develop applications that add value
   Collaborate with end-users to pinpoint inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for workflow enhancements
   Convert end-user requests into technical specifications
   
2. Microsoft 365 Apps ImplementationOffer expertise and support to end-users on utilizing Microsoft 365 apps for improved efficiency
   Automate manual processes by designing and developing applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, MS Flows/Power Automate, Power BI, etc.
   Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to schedule development and implementation of business applications
   Conduct end-to-end testing, troubleshooting, and user support
   Maintain and update developed applications and create user guides for knowledge retention
   Provide technical training to enhance staff skills in Microsoft 365 tools and other systems
   

Requirements

• No prior work experience required, but must have the necessary skill sets
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies, SharePoint Online, and AppSheet is essential
• Proficient in workflow automation using Power Automate is a must
• Familiarity with Business Process Automation, Procurement, and Accounting Systems is a plus
• Holding any of the following Microsoft Certifications is advantageous: MS-900, PL-900, PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, PL-500, and/or PL-600
